Yeah we get results on Wednesday which is 2 weeks from the scan . This is marked as urgent too. But we expected that.
A few weeks ago I was send to hospital for an urgent MRI by my GP, he phoned at 6 PM whilst I was in his office, got told to be in hospital next morning, had MRI in afternoon, results in 3 hours later, so if they really want to, they can be quick, on the other hand the normal waiting times are just criminal, lots of people are dying well before their time because they are not diagnosed in time.

Went to Hexham hospital yesterday, consultant wasn't happy with Carlisle's ultrasound from months ago. He sent me to radiology, I waited about 10 minutes, had 3 X rays, and by the time I had walked back to the consultant, he had them on his screen and had made his diagnosis.
The day before, my surgery called about a meds review, we got it sorted and she said "Would you like to order some more meds ?" I said that I needed a couple of things, but had held off, pending this call and she offered to sort them then. Two days later I get my full compliment delivered via Pharmacy2U, this normally takes 10 days to two weeks using the surgery's online service, and I've always blamed P2U for the delay !
It just shows how lax service seems to be the norm these days ?

You lot don't know how excited uncle Lenny HB is to have me visit so he can play with my electrics, he's actually had sleepless nights planning and drawing diagrams etc.
I'm stocking up on Fire extinguishers.

Fiat replaced the throttle body on my previous 'van five times, all under warranty. They seemed content to continue replacing it without finding out what was causing the problem!

Eventually, I deduced that it was caused by water running off the engine cover onto the throttle body and corroding the electrical contacts. A simple plastic deflector riveted to the engine cover solved the problem.
Any photos?
How long did each throttle body last?

I'm sorry, I don't have any photos, and I got rid of that 'van in 2019. As I said though, all I did was shape a piece of plastic to form a sort of umbrella, if you like, to divert any water that got onto the top of the engine away from the throttle valve. If you look at the engine from the front, it should be fairly obvious where it needs to go.

In terms of how long the valves lasted, the 'van was a 2009 model and I had no problems until 2016. The replacements all took place between then and 2019 when I traded the 'van in, so I suppose six or seven months on average although some lasted longer than others.

If yours fails again, there should be some sort of warranty on the part.

Mothers!!!

She's not right in the head.

Before taking her to asda i needed to go to the toilet ( dodgy takeaway last night )
I went to downstairs toilet she went upstairs .. I'm in the middle of a trotting bowel movement, dogs start going mental , fan in toilet so can't hear much.. then I hear stick banging on floor and faint shouts of Thomas... so I start trying to wipe hastily...... . Finger through paper and everything , rush out toilet thinking she'd fell ...and guess what the panic was .

Well once again my bad luck prevails . Garage phoned around 1pm saying camper is ready to collect.

Got my sister to drive me up to collect it.

Bill was £150 but as I paid cash he took £120 . Gets in van to drive home , I thought it felt really sluggish ...got around 5 miles and when stopped at a roundabout looked in the mirror and smoke bellowing out the wheel that required the work done. So I limped back to the garage with it. Everything red hot on that side so brakes are binding on somewhere . It's booked in for retest tomorrow and thats my last day before it requires a full test again .. I'm working tonight so I can't wait on the van , I'll have to leave it overnight again till he investigates and sorts the problem. Sisters going nuts at the waste of time and fuel bringing me up here and now having to come back and collect me.

If not sorted and retested by 3pm tomorrow I have to pay an mot test again.

Just aswell I'm not going to uncle lenny s till next week now

I really don't need this stress and aggro just now it's beyond a joke .
