Couple of thoughts if really struggling with parts........

Brake shoes can be relined - I know & deal with this firm https://www.industrialbrakes.co.uk/reline-service

If the old bearings have got a number on them then go to a bearing factors rather than an auto-spares place - a good factors can get any bearing from it's number

Bearing arrived , drove up to mechanic with it and he looks at it and says not the right one the one on my van is a one piece bearing...something the useless sack of shit could have told me the other day when I showed him the one I was ordering on ebay.

So I'm going to have to just bite the bullet and pay the ridiculous price to iveco for the one they have ..

And of course I rushed out the house to deliver the bearing and never picked up my wallet so I'm now at iveco 20 miles from home with no fecking wallet

Fortunately sister says she can pay it over phone for me so I can get it to the garage just now

This is the bearing that I bought from ebay after showing the mechanic on Monday.

2 piece bearing with oil seal in middle

Took that up today and he says no its one like this and shows me a big one piece bearing.

So this is the one from iveco

£188 +vat 😭😭😱

Fortunately they gave me some discount so it cost me £95.06

Still 3 times the price I can get it on ebay had he shown me the right one .

But I'm just hoping they now get on with it and get it sorted.

We have a dog that always goes in the smallest bed too. We have a medium sized dog, a small dog and a very small dog. We have 3 beds in the room. A big luxurious bed with memory foam (for the medium dog who is 12 and deserves some luxury). A medium bed and a small puppy bed.

None of them like the luxurious bed. The two biggest sleep in the puppy bed and the little one in the medium bed. They are nuts. I'll try and get a photo of them all.

This is Scrappy though. She is the littlest but she always gets first choice of bed.

I'd hoped to get the camper back today but didn't, garage says it be ready Monday. I've booked it in for its retest on Tuesday at 9.00am so hopefully it's OK, if I can get it home and packed up on Monday I should hopefully be able to head down to uncle Lenny HB after the mot is done.

Looking at our view this morning, 😉 the things you can do with an old caravan. 😎 Bob.

Garage fitted genuine iveco throttle body and wiring harness £470 including the vat :( plus labour etc £665.94 total. Hope the light stays out. He's told me to go to fiat if it comes back on.
Fiat replaced the throttle body on my previous 'van five times, all under warranty. They seemed content to continue replacing it without finding out what was causing the problem!

Eventually, I deduced that it was caused by water running off the engine cover onto the throttle body and corroding the electrical contacts. A simple plastic deflector riveted to the engine cover solved the problem.

I was told 5 weeks for results of my scan (scan ordered first week in march) scan was beginning of August.
Maybe they realised mine was kind of urgent but then it was 2 weeks, 2 weeks for everything after that. Anyway that was 14 years ago, so it got caught in time. 😎

Yeah we get results on Wednesday which is 2 weeks from the scan . This is marked as urgent too. But we expected that.
