Wondering if he has got a short arm mirror instead of a long arm Or vice versa
Yep it's definitely the longer arm mirror ...it just seems to sit further back than required . So you have to lean forward to see it which seems madnessYou always have to peer around that bar, but that looks worse than most. The older style two piece window blinds also made matters worse. I do wonder whether the right length mirror has been fitted.
Has yours had a replacement mirror or is it the factory original?Mine is the exact same Tam,need to lean forward to check the mirror every time. No idea how to get round it
... That's a concern depending on what your thought was ... Do you like Lenny?I can’t help it if German plonk is rubbish, it was the thought that counted….![]()
Had you done anything to upset Smiffy like trying to electrify his chair but not in a good way?It was so bad it still haunts me to this day![]()
Are you sure it's not the medium arm mirror & it should have the long one.Yep it's definitely the longer arm mirror ...it just seems to sit further back than required . So you have to lean forward to see it which seems madness
I think it's the original. It's the same as the passenger side anywayHas yours had a replacement mirror or is it the factory original?
It's not the blind as it is a one piece . Just a very wide trim on the window frameI think it the interior blind upright which is causing the problem normally it is not as wide as that maybe worth investing in a one piece blind
It's the same as passenger side. Can only see 2 arm sizes on ebay etc. I think it's a lhd one myself as you can see perfectly from the passenger seat but driver has that trim in the way.Are you sure it's not the medium arm mirror & it should have the long one.

I didn'tI hope you removed the foil on both sides from the foam before gluing it as the walls strength relies on the sandwich bond.
I wouldn't be happy with it on there you will get a much better bond without it.
