Tam I’ve found you another project. I think it’s going to Olivers Mount for the bike races

Picked up my summer house today , 2002 , eldiss avante elusion , 2 berth. Nice separate shower and end bathroom, in very good condition throughout , has been well looked after by previous owners. All for the princely sum of £1500 , which is a month's rent in some areas so I'm well pleased. This will be my summer/ overspill dwelling for the next few years. And perhaps be relocated to a bit land in Portugal in the future.

Wow, that looks in amazing condition and a real steal at the price! :giggle: Has it ever been used? 😀

I know it's a few years old, but have you seen the price of new touring caravans now... :oops: Gone exactly the same way as new motorhome prices. ;)

Should prove a great new base camp. (y)

Yeah I'm well impressed at how clean it is ... even the roof

The woman i bought it from lost her husband recently but he must have been very proud of the van as he's kept it in great condition. I believe they've had it the last 8/10 years.

for the price compared to others I've looked at it was a steal. I never had the heart to haggle with her so I gave full asking price which I rarely do , but I reckon its worth at least a grand more than I paid . But no intention to sell it . Its a cheap base for me

A friend towed it back for me with his work van so we looked like a pair of itinerants 😁


Yes still doing deliveries started back last night after 2 weeks off

In the driveway 😁 while I finish off the work in the camper. Also gives me a dog free space while entertaining lol. I haven't mentioned it before but I started seeing someone about 6 weeks ago, nothing serious but thats how we like it for now.

Just use the aquarell barrel for water, grey goes on the drive. We have a black disposal point at back of house. And just plug in to electric at the minute.

Caravan has hitch lock etc on it.

Camper alarmed ,immobilised and disabled 😉


Had someone at the door asking to buy the camper yesterday as it happens. Left me a card , "Scottish caravan buyer" . Told him £20k but he didn't seem keen lol

Hope they can get lots of time off work for winter travels, don't want you letting your loyal followers down with a winter at home!!

Tam the Caravan looks a great buy, just what you need, looks like we will have another story going on the thread soon, or are you keeping it under the radar.

They know I go away for 6 months over winter. Maybe can come out for a week or two but will see how it goes.

As I said it's a casual thing lol. Very big age gap so I doubt it will have a long time future 😀. But I'm cool with that
