Pity the poor so and so who bought the Frankia if he goes to Portugal with it and doesn't park proper...I sold the frankia in 2018 anyway lol

I wasn't suggesting you weren't Tam!I was parked proper.
Just one of those things where an over zealous plod had nowt better to do.
There weren't any signs etc at the time, but it was in the nature reserve area on the West Coast
From other posts I've seen signing the form means you accept the fine regardless of what they tell you.I was parked proper.

That's a better size.
It was so bad it still haunts me to this dayI can’t help it if German plonk is rubbish, it was the thought that counted….
I had a similar experience when I got a speeding ticket in Sweden. It was a fair cop, but I chose to ignore it. They kept writing to me (this was when I lived in the UK) and it seemed like they added a nought to the fine every time they wrote. It wouldn’t surprise me if they’re still writing to me at my old address and I’m probably on “Sweden’s Most Wanted“ list. I don’t care ‘cos I doubt if I’ll ever go back to Sweden. It’s boring and expensive.I've just recieved a letter in Portuguese for a fine that I was specifically told was not a fine back In August 2018 lol
I admire their perseverance but really? Do they expect me to even attempt to translate this nonsense?
I had to pay my parking ticket in Sweden, my customer had lent me his car.I had a similar experience when I got a speeding ticket in Sweden. It was a fair cop, but I chose to ignore it. I'm more annoyed at the sneaky lies from the gnr . I asked him twice if he was giving me a fine and he said definitely not it was more an advisory thing . And I asked again before I filled in the form he gave me to fill in that was all in Portuguese. Again he said no so I signed it.I had a similar experience when I got a speeding ticket in Sweden. Well done Tam and ChrisSo Chris mackeellan arrived this morning just in time for me to whisk him off with me to go look at a caravan, gotta move fast for cheap but good caravans right now as they are selling fast and there's some shit out there. So anyway to cut a long story short I've bought it and I'll collect it at the weekend. More about that later.
Then it was back to the camper to make a plan and then go pick up some materials. Managed to get 2 8x4 sheets of 4mm ply and a sheet of 25mm pir board on the roof off the car and back to the van.
With the help of Chris's super duper multi tool we got all the remaining bits of broken wood cut out and then rebonded the aluminium skin to the external trim then glued in the new wooded frame. Have left that to cure overnight. We have a few more bits of frame timber to glue in place and then will put new insulation in tomorrow before new ply .
