That is lovely ... my only concern straight off is the shower room . Couldn't use that it's a recipe for damp if it's not already suffered there.

Lol why would it put me off Charlie. The race van is still currently my favourite. Because its the most flexible .
 
He's sent me a load of photos and while the old hymer looks lovely , the light grey shaggy carpet throughout. The lack of oven , and the unusable shower room makes it unpractical for me.

Changing any of that would most likely devalue it and would take away its charming looks.

My heads absolutely frazzled with vans lol.

The mobilvetta has been dropped to £10.995 now, still no response to my £10k offer

The racevan I now have the reg number, its had a few advisories for corrosion the last few years, the owner says that's been sorted and the vans all been undersealed underneath. He's going to send pics later and do a video call walkround of it. The van itself has Done around 300k miles all in but engine changed last year , waiting on proof of that too.


Not heard anything more from taj the numpty with the vario , I've got it advertised but no leads yet ....just playing that by ear.

Hi -- Please forgive the uninvited message. But I am a freelance journalist writing for all the nationals. And I am writing a piece for the Daily Mail newspaper about whether UK pet owners are travelling to Europe to treat their pets, because vet fees & medicines are so much lower in parts of Europe than in the UK.

I understand you adopted some European strays. Possibly? Do you have any experience of European vets? If so, would you be willing to share any experiences...?

I feel I always have to chase people .

The guy with the race van was supposed to send me photos of the underside of the van yesterday and give me a videocall look around it ...never heard from him till this morning and he says he's going to call later.

Last night I got a phone call from the guy who's meant to be buying the vario back telling Me that his father isn't well and with eid approaching etc etc that's why he can't collect before 1st of the month and that they've booked plane tickets for the 15th of July

I told him my concern is that he doesn't have the funds to buy it and I don't want to wait another 2 weeks only to be asked to wait a further 2 weeks etc . He insists he does have the money which makes me think why can't he just pay for it then and collect when he wants. I mean it hasn't changed any bar having a longer mot and being cleaner than it was when I bought it from him .

He was meant to put another 250 quid deposit in my account last night but no surprise there he hasn't.

Honestly I don't know how any of these people get anything done .

Both vans technically sold but 3 weeks before collection, meanwhile ive 2 I'm interested in and both sellers are like slugs when it comes to communication and supplying details etc

This one has a very nice interior but a not so good mot history , a fair bit of corrosion that the owner isn't clear about whether it's been repaired or not. He's only owned it 1 year and the mot is due in 10 days time.

Anyway I've made him an offer for it with a years mot on it and a guaranteed hassle free quick sale. He wants to sleep on it and will let me know tomorrow.

But it only goes to show there are new possibilities listed every day or so , so I will just bide my time as I've 3 weeks before mine goes yet
 
Had another long chat with the mobilvetta owner this morning and I think I now have 3 vans . I've agreed to buy it just waiting on a few photographs of the underside and under bonnet etc. But we've agreed on a price.

All being well I'm hoping to collect it this week and as I found out last night I'm on 2 weeks ( unpaid) enforced holiday from next Saturday I thought I'd go away in it for a week to try it out . But I've just remembered the bloody euramobil is in for an mot slap bang in the middle of the week 😡 so not sure if that'll happen or not.
