It is but not without difficulties. And I'm still not convinced of the size. It's long enough but the width is a compromise.Shame your selling the vario it looked like a good base to start with.
Couldn't imagine living fulltime in one though.I think a Vario MWB is a great van to convert not the LWB one.
As I said those things are just ridiculous
I think they sound lovely. Much nicer engines than these fiat'sI saw a gorgeous MWB Vario conversion on site a few days ago. It was done to a very high standard, but dear me the noise when it started up and drove away would drive me round the bend.
Yeah I've been looking at older motorhomesHi Tam
Been off the forum for a while.
Why not find an older quality van that has the right layout and adapt it to your needs? My Mobilvetta 190 is a good example 7.5m - you had one - quality built, most are lhd (mine isn't) . OK not winterised but you could sort that - Why start with a bare van? - mine's not for sale

Why not just get yourself an ambulance and do it yourself, you won't regret it.
He’ll buy a caravan and wait for the opperchancity to buy the motorhome of his dreamsIf you sell both, where will you live?
More importantly, where will the dogs live...
They didn't before, or did they and I missed it?good idea but will the neighbours complain about a caravan parked on the drive, whilst a van is acceptable
That made me laugh, Big rufty tufy overlander with a mat and pair of shoes outside, don't want to mess up the brilliant white 3" shagpile
Before my time, I didn't know he had a caravan previously on his mums driveThey didn't before, or did they and I missed it?
if you don't tell I won'tAccording to our local council you are only allowed to live in a caravan or shepherds hut or static caravan for 28 weeks per year.
I might have another van before I've sold both. If not I'll move in to the house till I buy another. Or I'll buy a cheapish 4 berth caravan and stay in that till the right van turns up.If you sell both, where will you live?
