Tam, are you still using the bell on Ela's collar?
No but she's not been wandering off either thankfully. If I'm near dunes or in woods etc I will use it just in caseTam, are you still using the bell on Ela's collar?
I used to put a bell on my Stanley's collar to warn the rabbits in the area to run for cover!! he still caught the odd one though. No but she's not been wandering off either thankfully. If I'm near dunes or in woods etc I will use it just in case
Forget the dog ... it's the donkey you need to worry about as I' sure he's trying to figure out how to get in the MH!You planning of turning into ‘four dog Tam’?

Haven't decided yet but while the lounge is nice it works on this van because of the double floor and my drop down front bed. I unfortunately can't do that in a vario so I'd lose storage space if I went for a lounge rather than a fixed bed at the rear.Tam, looking at the lovely big lounge that you have, and would no doubt miss, has this made you redesign the layout of a self-conversion (if you do decide to do one) to include something similar?
I'll bet he doesn't speak ScottishI've a pack of around 6/7 stray dogs here. They've all been over for a pet and to say hello to my 3 all of them very friendly to me and my dogs but there seems to be some in pack fighting going on .. one of the females looks to be in heat , another looks either pregnant or has had pups recently but they all seem well fed and in surprisingly good condition. There one that seems very timid and a bit outcast. It's lying round one side of my van on its own . It's also probably the thinnest one . They have a very chilled out life at this spot just lying around on the beach till they find something to bark at then they all go charging after it before returning and collapsing in the sun.
Another camper has arrived now a small yellow vw lt with a young hippy couple in it.
Had a brief visit earlier from fellow Scots MartynSuz
And a Baker van has now arrived
I didn't need bread but got some anyway and 2 things I don't know what they are lol ... could be sweet or savoury .

But at a grand total of 7dh or £0.57 how can you not.
The Baker speaks English, French, German Spanish and Arabic
Other nationalities really do put us to shame on that score.
And that’s the conundrum in a nutshell. We have a 6.3m Ducato based PVC with nice long fixed bed and loads of storage. But no real lounge area. To get a decent rear lounge you lose the storage.Everything is a compromise which is why it's so difficult to get or build the perfect van
Yeah I think 6 metre is too small for me , I think I'd struggle. The vario is 7 metres and I think the rear section is 5 metres but narrower obviously than the mh.And that’s the conundrum in a nutshell. I’m not keen on transverse bed for 2 people. Plus, Tim finds not enough leg room length sleeping across the van. If you sleep transverse I guess it gives a bit more room for a front lounge.
He will now!I'll bet he doesn't speak Scottish![]()
We are due to come over tomorrow morning. Bloody wind (not me, I hasten to add). I'm feeling pretty anxious about the crossing as it is, let alone throwing in a choppy seaJackie's ferry has been delayed till 3pm due to bad weather. And of course she had turned up early
and where does it sail from in SpainHow long if the crossing?

I'm with you. The dog situation alone would distress me too much. Oh no! now there's catsSorry, no matter how much enjoyed our Anti Atlas trek (and I'd go back and do another one) I'm still not feeling motorhoming in Morocco.
But, I'm hoping that you have a great time there.
...but then you don't really like dogs [or maybe more accurately don't see the point of having them as pets]I wouldn't get too attached, it doesn't look very good to me.
I thought you were here for 3 months ? You've driven half the length of the country in one dayYes nice to have met you Tam, we got as far as Mohammedia and its 26 degrees here (but very busy in the site). Take care and enjoy your trip south.
There's people too thoughI'm with you. The dog situation alone would distress me too much. Oh no! now there's cats![]()
