A few pics from an evening walk around town . I can't believe how busy it is , the souk is mobbed , all the locals out doing their shopping lots of market stalls etc

But it was an early birthday present so your worth it 😂
Also we part our ways tomorrow and who knows when or if we'll ever meet again so remember the captain by the poncho gift 👍

I like it , it's different, some parts are strange and will take a bit of getting used to but at the minute the positives far outweigh any negatives. Different culture .

Well thank you ,its much appreciated as is all your help with the dogs and assistance getting over here etc. It helped a lot as it is a little daunting for a first timer with all the complications. We may well bump in to each other again somewhere sometime.

Your very welcome Tam it was no problem
As I told you I never did much on MHF until someone told me last September there's a Scotsman touring around Ireland and he's having a little difficulty here & there so I joined Tams followers to see if I could help and glad I got to follow you & eventually meet up as you are a kind & considerate guy with principles and integrity... (even if you are a Fiddlesticksing edjitt! 😂) but it was my pleasure to share in a bit of your latest adventure with you and I wish you all the best for your future on the road and I hope you heed some of my advise and maybe set up a wee income based idea to keep you doing what you love whilst still enjoying your life on the road, so I'll finish now with one of my quotes for you.. (not another one says you! Lol)

I’m sure Tam won’t mind if you put a little bit of your travels around Morocco on here too Paul, or start your own thread, I’d definitely want to see and hear a lot more about Morocco as I’m going to go next year…

Or last resort put some info on the Morocco thread….

Well Paul and Rosie have headed off south to pastures new. I've got to hang around here another day or 2 yet while I wait on Jackie, so I picked up a loaf of jesus bread 20 pence and
headed up the coast a little from Assilah in search of a wildspot away from the town . No satnav here so just flying by the seat of my pants now like I used to do years back in Scotland. So I've found a spot on a beach and as it happens there's one other van here....from Slovenia I think

But other than that there's just a few houses a donkey and miles of sandy beach .. there is however currently a smell of burning tyres as one of the houses is burning rubbish.

But begars can't be choosers and it will do me fine for 1 or 2 nights and hopefully peace n quiet .

Yes you're right and I'm a bit fed up waiting around to get honest so she better be here by Tuesday lol.


Crowded? You jest surely . There was a group of kids playing football on it earlier but at the minute there's no one on it bar 2 men and a donkey putting out fishing nets.


It's 20° today so back to shorts and vest and I've got my washing out to dry .

As long as he doesn't put up loads of pics of places I'm going to lol as it spoils it for me seeing it myself. I've had to stop looking at folk I follow on Instagram just now as it seems everyone is over here this year.

Definitely not, even if I wanted to it's not possible to rescue one from here in that timescale. You'd need to be here more than 3 months to sort out blood tests etc.

But I have my hands full with 3 anyway.
