Captain Paul said to give Rabat a miss as it's not worth it, so we thought this was the next best place on the coast and we tend to stay at sites for a while if we like them.

Nothing wrong with her that a good feed and a bit of love and attention wouldn't fix. She runs about on the beach fine..

65km , we did it in just over an hour but at about 50mph, Jackie will be shifting a bit quicker than I was .

It probably wasn't a timewaster but someone who discovered it was a rotbox when they went to collect it. I think the merc bodywork of that will have a few horrors. But still a cheap van if someone puts the time in to restoring the body then doing some work on the interior.

A good one would most likely fetch a lot more

I'm not even sure it'd possible to adopt from here . I mean you could try and smuggle her through ... lots of folk say no one even checks dogs leaving Morocco but certainly going the official route I believe you have to stay in Morocco for 3 months before you can take a dog from here.

So probably not possible

Anyway I have enough with 3 at the minute. There's loads of van folk visit here someone else can step up this time lol .

But I've managed to give her 2 bowls of food today away from the other dogs so they don't pinch it and gave her a pet. A bit of kindness is sometimes enough for these dogs.

I recently took my two on lead on my own for the first time, it was a nightmare at first it felt like I was trying to walk two alligators so definitely no more dogs for me

Yes well I've read several posts from people who said no one has checked anything from the dogs .

But even if you got one in to Spain you wouldn't get it in to UK In the timescale I will have.

It's probably a good thing to be honest because otherwise I know what I'm like lol.

But I can't save them all. Maybe one day if things align I'll open a sanctuary somewhere but till then I'll just feed the ones I think need it etc ...

The trouble with Tam's wanderings, is he keeps showing me places that I'd like to go to, but can't - yet. Ahh well, 5 years time once the youngest is (probably) off to University, and with any luck I'll get the chance to meander for longer & further than I do at present.

Same here … though our youngest has just gone to Uni (5 year course) and we’re funding his accommodation - which means we need to keep working till he finishes.

Currently got my eldest at Uni (who reappears at home on a regular basis - to see her boyfriend, we're under no illusion that it's to see parents!), middle one due to go in 18 months, youngest starting in 5 years time. Expensive being a parent, isn't it!

Wandering to exotic places like Morocco will have to wait. It'll still be there!

I very much doubt she's had any.

We sought out a vet when were on honeymoon in Turkey, years ago, to get tic powder to treat a lovely little dog that was living on the beach. Poor little mutt was the friendliest dog imaginable and was covered in the things.

Possibly, but the recommended interval is one a month and I guess the chances of multiple people dosing that individual dog in a short space of time are quite slim.

I did ask my Vet once can you give a dog too much and he said you can give once a month if you feel better but once every 3 months is the normal. Sorry not being critical I ALWAYS over think things
