Tam n pups winter trip 2022

It’s a good long walk along the coast there, I stayed at camping Roquetas once and did most of it on my trike…😎
Aye that's why I like this spot ..you can walk the other direction too along to the nature reserve. Lots of bars , cafes and beach taps on route

Loving that Daf. (y)

Could be wrong(again)but I think it’s a Trabant.

I did think it was a daf 99 at first then realised it was probably a trabant…

When I was 18 (1978) and just had my legs off I got a daf 99 vairomatic and bungee corded my artificial feet to the pedals and swung my hips to accelerate or brake 😂🤣 highly illegal but I didn’t care around that time…. It got me down the pub..😆😎

Was it an Australian import?

My brother had a Daf 66 that I used to nick all the time when I first passed my test as he just used it to put the dog in to take out. Looks just the same!

I think Terry

I remember MIL having one in the late 70's scary to drive, put your foot on the brakes and the revs go up.
Yes, but take your foot off the accelerator and get quite a braking effect.

The (can't really call it a gear lever) forwards / backwards lever used to become disconnected, so I drove from the south coast to London and made sure I parked only where I wouldn't have to reverse, although technically they could go as fast backwards as forwards, I didn't fancy reversing the 50 miles home :ROFLMAO:

Yeah I had a 1981 fiat 131 mirafiori .

It was a rust bucket but boy it could shift
It's funny how we look back at twin cam (now the norm in many many cases) and think they were fast. Faster I suppose. That even stretches to twin cam turbo's, take the sierra cosworths for instance, un-insurable by anyone under 25 (pretty much) because of the almighty 200bhp. Since then 200bhp happens all the time without all the fuss.

The dolomite sprint was another twin cam vehicle everyone lauded, i think they were around 130bhp, quite laughable these days. Now we have twin motor Teslas with 0-60 times sub 3 seconds!!

Yeah I had a dolomite too . I also had a twin cam celica . They were fast for their time. Kinda like the few yanks I had. I had a few 5.7 v8's and a couple of 6.6 ...big tanks of cars that these days a 1.3 Nissan would leave standing

A friend of mine used to borrow his mums 1ltr micra and that used to fly, good on tyres as it only used 2 when going round corners :ROFLMAO:

I do love V8's had a couple of Triumph Stags, but my Audi RS6 was a true monster, and the noise ..... !!!

when the algeciras crossing to ceuta is apparently half the price.
it is like a war zone getting out of Ceuta with the africans etc trying to climb the fence to get in.
but this gang are a bunch of lazy gits making more mess than cleaning it .
they are probably seconded to do the work as payment for the minimum 500€/month benefit for those who have exhausted all unemployment benefit & no jobs are available. they are required to do x amount of hours per week. works well up here & no one poncing.then again they don't put them on rubbish clearance but roundabout planting, pruning & dual carriageway centre planting . & all with live lanes.

If you are easily offended look away now
Talking of fast cars here, a couple of years ago a mate at work had a Focus ST and drove around like a maniac. Driving home one evening he came past me hammering it and then had to haul on the brakes as we were approaching a T junction.
Next morning I asked him if he knew what the ST stood for and he replied, no idea.
Sanitary Towel I told him because you drive like a C~~t

Edited. (y)

But what does fs stand for

Ha ha, that was a case of reading what you know it should be, I had to go back to see what FS was all about, especially with the second correct spelling!
