So glad you are back and thoroughly agree with your sentiments in #3381. I certainly missed what are some of the best photos on the forum. Hope the passport frustrations sort themselves out soon. Keep enjoying the sun and warmth and could you send some back to chilly and wet Scotland please?

Dogs passports now done ,I have all the certificates for jade and milo too. It just goes to show had I been waiting in the vet contacting me I'd still be waiting. That was yet another vet I saw today that's 3 different ones now so it's no wonder there's confusion. Maybe they don't do these tests very often I don't know but despite them all speaking good English there was definitely not an understanding there. But anyway 2 down 1 to go , hopefully the vet I find further south to retest ela will be easier....but I'm not holding my breath

I'm back at playa los cacadores just down the coast from aguilas , stopped here for lunch and to wait on Jackie. Not really wanting to stay here as its even more mobbed than it was last time and its 95% Germans, tables and chairs and budgy smugglers everywhere. And I feel like I'm on the filmset of an old war movie lol. But if I end up here overnight I'll be moving tomorrow towards villaricos or Vera etc . 24° again today so it's lovely .

Hope all goes well with the new vet mate, you can still catch some time in Moroccan parts.
Heres a thought that I had on the test, just saying if you hadn’t had Elas rabies jab done again and you was just getting the test done after the first one she may have enough antibodies in her system by now.
I probably have not said that very well but worth thinking on.

Glad you're back here (your Fun thread) and good for Jade and Milo's passports. for Jade's later.

I don't know why the Aguilas parking has gone back to being so busy. Parking for over 5.2m vehicles was totally banned, and policed, a few years ago. It's a shame that it's abused, it'll be banned totally one day, and probably fairly soon, with a knock on effect elsewhere.

We're off on a trip ourselves from Sunday. We might bump into you somewhere. But if not, I hope you find some good parkups.

I have not posted on your thread until today but have thoroughly enjoyed reading about your travels and dogs. I was going to plead for you to return so I’m so glad you have decided to carry on posting, I am so looking forward to seeing Morocco through your eyes which hopefully you will be able to do. Ela will be able to get her passport up to date for Morocco. I am sure there are lots of people like me that don’t post on your thread but really enjoy your photos etc and would definitely miss you so thank you for carrying on.

Yes you are quite right but all the signs that used to proclaim it have all been removed?
On christmas day there were 3 dozen + on the beach at the western end of Águilas.

Thats what we ended doing with both of our Labradors as they both failed the test first time due to being larger dogs, I thought Tam may have already done this?

Still a sign here saying no vans over 5.2 metres. But as there are currently 93 vans parked here with only 4 possibly 5 being under 5.2 metres I'm assuming it's not enforced at present. There is even a converted coach , and a few lorries

Not sure. It's a big bugger about 8 metres and 3.5 -4 metre tall , looks like a bus

Lunch stop at villaricos and a walk through the village. I stayed here in 2018 but lots of vans today some massive numbers , 3 that had cars in the back . Decided not to stay the night though

This big Mercedes engined American freightliner was very cool , chatting to the owner for a bit. He's had it over to Scotland last year said he loved the Highlands but hated the midgies lol.
