Market day today so had a look around with Jackie who wanted some clothes , I spent a fortune on walnuts , dates and dried, sugared fruits .

Now sat in the sun with a beer ... bliss

Our old neighbour cut his tree like that cuz he'd seen them in gran canaria and liked them alot

Now that looks more like a holiday Tam although if start at this time i'd need a siesta mid afto

There was a local girl infront of us yesterday with hot pants on and a bubble jacket zipped up under her chin

All the foreigners of which there are many are dressed in shorts t shirts vests etc. The locals are in scarves and coats , it's bleeding 23° . I'm warm . Back to van now for some lunch , I've salad and boiled eggs need using.

Just ordinary eggs. I went to make an omelet, cracked the egg on the side of the jug and for a split second thought I've never seen an egg do that before lol

And then realised they were pre boiled .

I wasn't the only one Jackie was surprised at them too.

I did wonder as the shells seemed very shiny but never thought much about it.

I'd buy those again though. But not for omelette lol

Great for salads though and the interesting thing is if you boil an egg at home and leave it a day or two the yolk almost has a green tinge to it but here they don't yet these have a 2 week shelf life
. Amazing

I agree that fruit stuff is lovely. For a slimmer idea try my favourite, peeled garlic cloves , available in French and Spanish markets. I think they are in vinegar. I will happily munch through a bag of that, hardly any calories with the bonus that people keep away.
