Yes it's becoming a habit

Although to be honest if you know a gokd mechanic up there and it's a lot cheaper than the prices I get quoted down here I can easily point it that way on the motorway ....vans still driving and once it's got going on straight road it's not too bad .. It's the stopping and starting and hills I'm worried about.

I think maybe too many trips up that hill to see Jesus ha ha

Just wash your clothes and hang em up to dry. Even in UK today all our washing on the line dry in 2 hours, even towels.

A few weeks ago Meg got stung on the mouth by an insect she chased. She looked like she was sucking a gobstopper but it didn't seem to bother her and went down in a day.

Another bit of irritating positive thought for you Tam, "Keep your mind on what you do want and off what you don't want " ie. Don't expect the worst otherwise that's what you will get! 1
I have found the Spanish to be very kind, genuine and helpful, it's been UK garages that have been the rip-off merchants.
So I'm glad you've found a nice spot for the night, now quit worrying and relax.

Spanish bloody motorhomers really piss me off ....i mean who turns up at a parking spot at midnight in the first place but then to squeeze in a space right next to another van who's occupants are obviously in bed and make a racket like it was the middle of the afternoon is beyond me.

Hand wash a few light things in the sink, open a window, tie a string between the struts of the window & peg items onto string, about an hour in the heat you’re getting should see them dry!

That one doesn't do clutch repairs ....had some bother finding that out like as no one speaks English. ..one person very broken English said no clutch lol

Getting the clutch fixed will make the van much easier to drive.
Getting your crutch fixed will stop you walking with a limp.
Getting your crotch fixed is definitely a job for the French students!

Found a mechanic it's getting done on Wednesday hopefully.
Also found a launderette and sorted the washing so I'm sat on a 3 euro a night aire at the minute enjoying the sun and a few beers

Gawd there's a right miserable couple near me on this aire ....im outside and was playing fetch with jade on the long leash ...shevwaa doing really well so thought I'd let her off the lead so she could go further

Of course the wee shite took off running over to a van a few hundred metres away as they have two wee dogs too

She jumped up on the woman's knee and she went all rita Hayward screaming and over reacting ....i apologised profusely but really wanted to give her a slap

Yes if it's just the clutch it will be just under €800

But if the flywheel needs changed too which we won't know till it's stripped out then another €600

Needless to say I'm hoping the flywheel is ok

Its like walking with the dogs when they were younger, Harry used to jump up a lot and I was trying to stop him doing it - so many people said it was fine, not a problem and then encouraged it! Its all very well when they don't mind, but then what about if he jumped up at a child or somebody who didn't like dogs, but they just didn't get it.

I've come to the conclusion that training never stops!
