That's why I never got told about the stroke till the day after by which time she was home from hospital.
I understand why your mum would do that.My mum's a bit like that . Old school! She didn't tell me my Dad had died until the night before the funeral cos we were in NZ and she didn't want us to cut our trip short. (To be fair he had Alzheimer's and the Dad I knew died years before). Still, she was thinking about us.

Yes so do I. ..I'm no expert on TIA's but Sharon's mum probably had a couple of dozen over a period of about 5 years. They were scary at first as she just stopped (a bit like a faint) then after something between 10 and 30 mins she had pretty much recovered. Paramedics were always called but after a number of them, it was felt a waste of time sending her to A&E.
Hope your mum doesn't have any more for a long time.
Well the bums still burnt from Wednesday and I burnt other bits yesterday but at least I'm getting back to all the one colourWhat's on the cards today then Tam?
Bum burning?
Head scorching?
Throwing Jade in the deep end?
or something new?
Yes I am doing ....its a scorcher today but I'm reluctant to leave her on her own at any time while she's like this.I’m sure you will but, keep a very close eye on her . Dogs can go down very quickly . If concerned go to the vet !
Regards Dave
Yes I've just found out from a few locals I eventually found someone who speaks a little English as my Spanish doesn't extend to

" what the bloody hell is going on" lol
There's massive bonfires being built all along the beach and only a few metres from each other .....it's going to be mad when they light them .....Never seen so many people on the beach.
Yes I've kind of realised that's not going to happen tonight especoally as they don't even light them till it gets dark so I expect it will be a very very late nightExpect a quiet night then
We stayed at a site near Vinaros a few years ago, near being about 4/5 miles away when they had a fiesta and it was loud until about 5AM.......enjoy

I'll jist go out and watch for a while it's jade I'm worried about with the fireworks
Yes I'll see how she is and if scared I'll just stay in with her.All I can suggest with Jade is stay close to her and comfort her, we have had dogs in the past that were terrified by fireworks and other than sedatives, which we never used, that's all I can suggest.
She's fine we are out watching the partyPoor Jade. a poorly tum and fireworks to deal with! I wish you both a peaceful night and a speedy recovery for Jade.
Is there lots of fires there too ?The party at a fun rally is a bit wold too, al,getting a bit wild. Xx
