Tam & co the great winter escape

Doggy worming tablets

Does anyone know if you need any specific brands etc for use coming back in to the UK. I've normally just got the vet ones when we've went but they have varied from vet to vet so I've bought some online that's pork flavoured . Never thought to check if they had to be a specific brand or not

I actually bought a mini Christmas tree for this van with lights and decorations 😉
Do you mean like this 😁

This are the two criteria listed on the gov.uk page:

The treatment must:

  • be approved for use in the country it’s being given in
  • contain praziquantel or an equivalent proven to be effective against the Echinococcus multilocularis tapeworm

Thank you for giving Tam something he actually wants to talk about(y)

Gina.

I can't express how much it is hurting me to get an mot done 3 months early either but needs must. I suppose I could have got it done somewhere south englandshire before crossing the chanel late November but I figured it was easier just to have it done early. To be honest December mot's aren't practical for winter travels anyway so September is more fitting.

I changed my hgv for work from June to October as it suited me for out travels. (Hgv test ain't cheap but it's better than losing holiday travel time)

I am looking forward to following you on your next big adventure from my sofa :giggle:

I was pleased with the 6month delay due to Covid as it meant all our vehicles are now October MOT's
