Tam & co the great winter escape

Well done Tam for doing so well with the diet. I’m a skinny beanpole and struggle to keep up to my 14 stone target but I do understand how difficult it is for those who put on weight so easily. The sting in the tail is the problem of keeping to a comfortable weight once you’ve got down to it,a lot of people seem to shout hurrah and go back to old habits and square one!
16.5 Stone now 😁

I will always struggle with my weight as I like my food to much. I know I won't stick to my diet religiously when I'm away travelling this winter but I'll be doing my best not to go to crazy. Moderation and limiting the treats will help. I also exercise more when travelling than I do at home as the dogs and I walk a lot more when it's new places to explore .

Don't get too skinny Tam ;)

Woodland walkies today tired them out View attachment 659160

They all got filthy running though the numerous burns and streams ela in particular was a right state . So they all had to have a garden hose shower when we got back. Think I got soaked more than they did
I assume the other two didn't fart otherwise poor little Milo would've been defened. :giggle:

Slight hijack here ... this is my 3 in the back of the car when they went to the vets for their vacs last week ... sorry about the quality but it was a quick snap with the sun streaming in the rear window

That’s a special “ Hull value pack “ of Tetley tea bags in Minxy s photo . 1000 bags for 99p but only sold to the residents of Hull 👍🏻
I wish! Might be true but I don't live in Hull but in the 'posh' village (allegedly) nearby!

I think you're Geography teacher needed re-training if that's where he taught you or you weren't paying attention.
Just use google maps now (Mr Peters will be turning in his grave....)...🙄

Sorry Tam........

Cheers 🍻

Can't copy Minxy s post, but can confirm she does indeed live in a very select village near Hull. It must be Step son and DIL live there too.
Apologies Northernraider for hijacking, lovely photos of your pooches and Ella is really coming on.
Do like the white mouse too Minxy

I was pranked last night Tam; I didn't send that message I deleted it as soon as I was told about it. If you don't know anything about it then good. But please keep talking to your friends on here.

Well there is definitely bargain in Hull, can’t believe some of the prices you can get stuff for after being in Buxton many years.

Sorry Tam, by the way, thought the carving was me for a minute 😂😂😂

If you stand with your back to the Winter Gardens entrance and look at the terrace over the colonnade, we used to live in the LH 1st floor flat. My grandfather sold it in about 1948 for £3,400. What would the price be now?
