I'll take other pics later once im finished moving in
I believe its a Osmosis filtration system that provides crystal clear clean water, pretty much takes care of itself although the three filters that you can see need changing periodically. We have the same system fitted……but in a house.

Sounds an expensive system.

Tam a few days ago you appeared in a bit of a depressive state so many issues to deal with, home life,Dogs,Vario,Caravan,Work consideration, and so on, l personally am both amazed and delighted that in pretty short order you have turned it around. Congratulations, happy days ahead… and more entertainment for your followers.

Tam ref a bed, how about making the front dinette up as a bed and leaving it like that with the dogs beds on the side sofa then using the rear lounge for slobbing around, meals etc?

Im gonna try the drop down for a few nights and see how that works out

Just thought the organ hoist aka the desk could you utilise the electric motors to tilt solar panels but having not seen them I may be talking out of my exhaust
I had the same thought but don't think the motors will be strong enough to lift his massive array. 😊

I noticed it actually comes down quite low and with the seating to use as steps to get in and out I should imagine you'll be pleasantly surprised how easy it is to use, your own little Bedouin tent ... just don't go filling it with loads of concubines. 🥰

I think you're missing an obvious opportunity with the "sunken lounge" at the back - get hold of those actuators for the desk, you could have your own Wurlitzer organ rising from the depths, like in Blackpool Tower!

I've got my coat.....

I've lost count... how many vans has Tam got on his poor Mum's drive...?
3, 4?
Just the vario and caravan. Im out in the street in the euramobil. But heading south tomorrow teatime. Vario will be going when i get back .. caravan hopefully not long after that

Right off to bed . My 2 battery monitors tonight read 292ah and 379ah. They were at 300ah and 400ah when sun went down.

Fridge is on the big circuit , only a few lights and water pump etc used on the smaller circuit.

Be interesting to see how long it takes tomorrow to put back to full.

Looks brilliant for fulltiming, congratulations on your wise purchase. That water filtration system would turn p!ss into drinking water, stay off grid even longer. :giggle:
I think you missed the point. Can the filtration system turn Tennants into something drinkable 😳

Don't they recommend you don't use stainless fasteners in aluminium because of the galvanic reaction ? I think passivated bolts are the way to go, but I could be wrong and not for the first time !
It's a theory I've often heard. Galvanic reaction is a fact and afflicts steel as well. It has never caused me a problem or even been noticeable except when using stainless self-tappers in aluminium. Self-tappers force their way into metal-to metal contact and invariably cause corrosion in aluminium - but then so does any other metal. In the case of exposed bolts in the back panel the heads will be against coated aluminium and, more importantly, they'll survive Winter salt spray.

On this van the body isn't aluminium the hymer was but this is grp.

That said i don't want to leave the bolts in so i will try to fill with GRP filler. And then ill figure a way to discreetly cover them.

Fortunately they are in 2 straight lines so a wide pinstripe to match the original graphics would likely do the job.

We are waiting for a picture of tam and wissel with lots of tools and a detailed report of works to be carried out really 😆😇
Well the rear lounge currently looks like this.

Its full of mercedes parts.

Just having some lunch before i head south. Will need to fill up with lpg on route.

Vario is now empty, batteries charged and ive had it out for a wee drive. Boy is it noisy with thise window panels in ...but it started first flick of the key , air tanks full in under a minute .. and drives ok ... tyres are hard as no weight in it but its ready to go.

Mums in a foul mood today im starting to wonder if its brain deteriation as she was happy and full of beans yesterday z today she's a bloody misery.

I also discovered its not rusty steel brackets hes used on the solar they are just painted brown. But regardless id rather lower the panels a bit as dont need to be that high up.

But i took the bigger frankia all around Spain and Portugal and never felt i missed anything
& the mayor of Cartagena has just posted " Oh God that Tam Northernraider has just bought another tag":doh:

I was going to ask whether when you strip out the motors you could post some photo's so we can see what was used?

Northernraider If you can't get LPG on the way, there's a place 5 mins from here.

I know they had a new delivery yesterday as I filled up myself this morning.

They are open tomorrow and Saturday.
