Tam & co the great winter escape

From what i can see they are holding on this stupid desk thing he built in the back 🤦‍♂️ you have to ask yourself WHY!!!

That's untrue

Do you know a good way of filling and re-finishing the holes that will be left?

I have fibreglass body filler here. Do you think that would do a good job? (not repaired a composite panel before).

Whats untrue? Im not following.

From previous experience with holes in the back of the hymer its not easy to fill them and not be noticed unfortunately.

It might just be easier to leave the bolts in and paint them white. Not sure yet. Will have a look when we are doing the lounge . No idea what its like behind that desk panel either.

Edit

Just thinkng the hymer was aluminium and this is grp on the back so i might be able to fill them. Will investigate that later.

I watched the video of the desk, what a totally OTT way to do it, much more complicated than it needed to be and pretty crap too! As for the bolts ... words fail me!!!

You should see how many 12v sockets and usb points there are in it lol
You can't have too many . I think I've 19:unsure::laughing:
Those battery cables are a bit under size.

Water filter looks like an Osmio system I would replace it with a simple single filter system.
Yes it is .posh for a mhome.

We had a Eura Mobil a class on a Mercedes until 2013. 😎

Behinds the passenger seat on ours was two switches that run the fans on the heat exchanger to heat the rear while on the move 😉 to keep the doggies warm. 😁

While parked in hot climates a device under the floor I think called Iso air ventilation system that draws up cool air from under the floor and redistributes it through inside vents that are set into the furniture under cupboards. 😁 Bob.

Yep this has that too. And you've now saved me trying to find what those two switches were for 😁

well what a result for a man about the town, plunge pool by the settees, massive bed. small power station, a couch for each dog, no need to ever clean the roof cause you cant see it loads of storage for all the stuff you might need, electric cab blinds, not 1 but 2 cab doors only £165 to tax not to mention so many usb sockets it its just endless all you have to do is correct a few misguided mods enjoy(y) ps dont forget to buy many usb leads your record with these is not good

What does the backrest do which blocks a bit of the cab off?
What dya mean what does it do?

Reverse osmosis unit, a pre filter to remove large impurities through the semi permeable membrane (horizontal cylinders at top) then post filter for smaller particles then post treatment to add whatever you need depending on application (my experience is with printing machines)
Blimey almost like I'm working again.

Not really needed for motorhoming but very desireable for anyone that keeps fish (or printers) you just change the filters/post treatment to suit what you need. The tank is an accumulator to store the treated water (probably under pressure) until needed as the complete process is quite slow.

The pump associated with the HX is used only when you are seeking to pre-warm the engine using residual heat from the Alde radiators. It is not required when you wish to warm the van when driving to your destination as the engine water pump circulates the water to the Alde HX. To operate the heating in the rear when driving simply requires the selector switch on the control unit to be set to heating WITHOUT having gas/electric set as the heat source. This activates the Alde circulating pump as per normal use.

That's enough to confuse a Scot.

For the one I had there was a base plate and cushion for that seat.
Bloody lovely van, brings back some excellent memories other than the back end ours had twin singles and a garage.
Ahhh now i get you , i thought he was on about the main seat at dinette.

The centre infill seat is missing unfortunately as are the curtains and the voiles. Careless owners.

The only bit he gave me was the backpiece but i can get a bit made up later i have a few cushions up mums loft.
