It's only going to be there 2 days max. Moving in tomorrow and then ill be heading back south to Wissel either thursday afternoon or friday morning. When i get back he will be taking vario away so ill get it in the drive.

No its permanently fixed. I might change those brackets though . They will make a mess of the bodywork if they continue to rust

Unfortunately not as he chopped it up to make that daft step. Ive discovered he's a bit of a bodger so I'm hoping his wiring is better than the other jobs hes done.

Thats me just home and its pouring it down so ill have a closer look at stuff tomorrow.

It did seem to be missfiring at times coming up the road and the EML flashed on a couple of times....im suspecting it might have the same issue i had with Toby 2 years ago and have a dodgy injector plug wire....im hoping so and it isn't something more serious.

Never fails but every van i buy it has some issues the owner doesn't own up to when asked.

But overall i think it will be a nice van when ive sorted the bits.

The only photo ive taken was off the roof and the back from mums upstairs window.

Check out the bolts through the back panel , the massive reverse light above the back window , and the rusty steel brackets he's mounted the solar with

Improving other peoples shitty jobs has started again, to prevent serieus fire hazards I would check every inch of his wiring jobs, that’s for sure Looking good, hope it serves you well

ive got some aluminium anlgle about 2x2 if you want it it was going in the scrap i can cut it in half and send if you pay postage might be ideal as mounts for those panels if you want it let me know ill get a picture its got a lip on one angle

Hmm not decided on a name yet.

My first euramobil i called Mable ...as in you're a Mabel. Then my mobilvetta i called Mable 2 .

Not sure if Mable 3 would be good or fhoggy as the reg is fh06 and the front headlights need restored

Thankfully Wissel has kindly offered to do just that. Just in case but he did actually sound like he knew his electrics. Just daft things hes botched but i can sort them out.

Not yet , by the time i got back it was dinner time and it was pouring with rain . They will get in to explore it tomorrow once ive moved the stuff hes piled inside, the rear ladder and bike rack etc are all inside in the rear lounge. Im not refitting the cycle carrier as i plan to fit a scooter rack but ill be refitting the rear ladder hopefully.

All the dogs are out for the count now

I honestly can't understand why he mounted them so high above the roof .

But easily sorted. That said the wifi Airiel is still higher. Ill have to measure the height of that for future reference

I watched the video of the desk, what a totally OTT way to do it, much more complicated than it needed to be and pretty crap too! As for the bolts ... words fail me!!!

Yep as i said he was a bit of a bodger. He only bought the van in October 2020. Its done just over 1000 miles since then and he's spent literally thousands on it doing all that.

No idea what he paid for it.
