I suspect once the cushions are removed it raises up and flips/extends out somehow to provide a work surface - you can see some sort of mechanism below and an additional 'board' under the base cushions. As for the 2 black things on the back wall, they look like monitors which are probably making you think (as they did me) they are part of the desk itself. From the description of the MH it looks like the owner has done professional photography/drone work hence the need for a large working area rather than just using the dinette table and plenty of power.Its the wind up and down bit i thought was strange. It apparently makes a desk or something.
