Take what you can get. Nothing will be 100% of what you desire. You can always sell it again and make money with your Midas touch.

Quick tam, the motorhome depot one above is left hand drive , double french bed and loads of extra goodies, !!!

This one is a bit nicer and private seller so sure a deal could be met. Broken Link Removed
Not too far into Germany either.
Having said that it's the same van.

Yes that's the one i linked above...theres 2 adds for it

Works out around £23500

But what's the situation with imports now? Im sure they are all eligible for Vat which would put price up a fair bit

Yes it’s a shame about the vat it would add almost £5000 on, we’ve imported a few used from Germany with no vat to pay.

Didn't think VAT was payable on a used vehicle (of that age) when imported.
It didn’t used to be if over 6 months old and 9000 km but a lot say there now is since the B word, only way is to check with HMRC.

Yes s/h vehicles you now have to pay 20% vat on import.
If buying from a dealer most dealers charge vat on the full sale price so you should be able to get most of that back.
Could work out cheaper buying from a dealer.

So ask German dealer to supply to you without the Vat or pay them them reclaim it back from German dealer after proof of paying UK vat.

We did exactly the latter in 2007 when importing a new Hymer. Reclaimed the 20% German vat after paying the 17.5% Uk vat plus change in exchange rate meant we were well in profit.

He's a man of few words eh , and a strange choice of things to photograph.
Nice looking van though if a bit pricey.

I could kick myself for missing that one at 22995 the other day

The what if!
Another “what if “ Tam,say you actually did the Vario the input in both skill set and manhours is mammoth particularly considering the constraints on you having to earn a living, look after you best pals, not forgetting keeping Mum sweet along with the shopping trips and so on, and in the unlikly event you could complete the Vario, “What if “ in consideration of all the above it didn’t meet your expectations and you didn’t like it.

l know you are careful with your hard earned money but what l do know about you is that any purchase is considered with the residual value in mind at the purchase point and laying your money out in another “oven ready MH” therefore,it will still be intact when you eventually sell said vehicle.

You have entered our hearts mate.
