Makes sense , tam hates business/ wealth opulence but travels round Europe to look at all the castles/ chateau’s built by wealthy people & religious buildings with the money extracted from the poor

I should have topped the tank up before leaving Czechia it was cheaper there but i was still above half and couldn't be bothered stopping.

Surprisingly too the diesel is actually dearer than the petrol here at present too which isn't usually the case.

Germany is normally only a few cents dearer than Luxembourg, that's dearer than the UK.

Aye its £1.92 which i wasn't expecting. Im hoping its a bit cheaper further west as i dont need to fill up yet.

Really feel sorry for you Tam. My neighbour knocked on the door last night with 2 x 25ltr bottles of diesel. Wanted £15 each so he poured them both into the motorhome. My biggest worry was "do I have room for these" but it took it to just on full again.

Today in Luxembourg diesel is €1.717 Bob.

Just looked at our cheapest diesel in Javea Spain.
Same price come here and get it.

I've noticed fuel stations near borders are often more expensive in Germany.

There’ll be a lot of this going on soon, the scrotes/ne’do wells/druggies (delete as appropriate) will be raiding all the construction/quarry plant/tanks as they’re all going on white diesel April 1st.
They’ll always be someone with some to sell soon, easier than a days graft

They have dismissed all their staff - 800 - redundant effective immediately. They have taken on foreign agency staff who are waiting to board but current staff refusing to hand over (fair enough).
So likely to be disruption for a while.
