Not everybody can get a private pension or afford to join one. I lost my right to the promise of a private pension through divorcing a violent, selfish b*****d, its not ideal but I manage on the state pension that I have paid contributions to. Nobody is going to 'look after me' in my old age.I may not be able to spend it all but Mrs T is quite good at it
Not necessarily liking it and I do not get paid extra for it but I just wanted to point out that though its not a physical occupation it is still long hours and mentally draining, another 8 weeks and I am retiring but looking at the stock markets not sure its the right time now but hey ho, at least I have a pension of sorts unlike some who do not and expect everyone else to look after them in their old age![]()
Everybody who works has to be enrolled in a workplace pension by law and the company have to contribute as does the employee so yes everyone can get one? My pension is not great and even less since the current situation but it will help till the state pension kicks in.Not everybody can get a private pension or afford to join one. You've seemed a little wound up for a couple of days so I thought you might like a photo of some brave dogs in Ukraine suffering constant shelling from dead eyes putin.
Thankfully some even braver volunteers are staying behind to look after all the cats and dogs whose owners were not able to evacuate them.
Pray for the doggies and the cats, in fact all who are having to endure this

Have you ever for a second asked yourself why if Scotland really was the burden Westminster claims it is why they've been so desperate to hold on to it?In this fair and equal society would we still have the Barnet formula ?
Taking your share of the national debt of courseIf Scotland is a drain on Westminster then let us go . Its quite simple.
Not our concern. If they want to go then let themTaking your share of the national debt of course
How do you think Scotland would fare as an independant country
'ooh they're our nuclear subs and if you leave, you're not getting to play with them'Not our concern. If they want to go then let themI don't think they will be protected by our anti Nuclear subs anymore though. Just off to get me tin hat again.
Scotland has never had borrowing powersTaking your share of the national debt of course

And one of the key points for independence in 2014 was getting rid of the nuclear subs out of Scotland. Not our concern. If they want to go then let themI don't think they will be protected by our anti Nuclear subs anymore though. Just off to get me tin hat again.
Aye it's always the same pish eh ...'ooh they're our nuclear subs and if you leave, you're not getting to play with them'
I agree, get rid. Leave United Kingdom and tell us to move themScotland has never had borrowing powers

Store them elsewhere .including the 4 that are rotting away in a basin not 4 miles from where i live
Do your part then write to your mp and tell him you support a vote for scottish independence.I agree, get rid. Leave United Kingdom and tell us to move them![]()

I've always been in favour of Scottish independence so we're on the same sideHave you ever for a second asked yourself why if Scotland really was the burden Westminster claims it is why they've been so desperate to hold on to it?
If you haven't then thats how you will find the answer to your question.
In 2014 Westminster had a panic attack the second a poll showed a majority for yes.
The same old bull is regurgitated regularly. ...the same question stands .
If Scotland is a drain on Westminster then let us go . Its quite simple.
Hmm well its obvious the 2 way ignore doesn't work then e
I think that's a fair point. I have no view on Scottish independence. However I observe that is not a wave of consensus. Scotland is deeply split on the issue. I have many Scottish friends. Most are pro the union.Have you ever for a second asked yourself why if Scotland really was the burden Westminster claims it is why they've been so desperate to hold on to it?

But it would be Scotland's problem keeping you out so not an issue for WestminsterCould it be that England has already got enough problems with Economic Migrants and the Scottish border would be harder to patrol than the English Channel?![]()

It was a very close call in 2014 ... swung mainly by the statement " an independent Scotland would lose its EU membership" they kept quiet about the impending in/out vote on EU the Tories had planned.I think that's a fair point. I have no view on Scottish independence. However I observe that is not a wave of consensus. Scotland is deeply split on the issue. I have many Scottish friends. Most are pro the union.
I dont think it's fair to say that the UK wont let Scotland free. There have been democratic independence referendums and Scotland has voted to stay.
Perhaps that view has swung though and I cant see why Boris cant grant Scotland one more vote.
They have never been thought of as equals.I always thought it was because all the countries are equal and England and Wales are quite happy to put up with the moaning Scots, but now they are wasteing money duplicating parliaments and other stuff they might as well have a go at paying their own way.
Let them go.
Have to me, IV never had anything against any Scots as I know to.They have never been thought of as equals.
But the Scots seem to have something against the English all the time just for being English even if it is going to cost them.Have to me, IV never had anything against any Scots as I know to.
Then you should run for prime minister charlieHave to me, IV never had anything against any Scots as I know to.
Nope thats just how you interpret a scottish hate of Westminster . Especially the ToriesBut the Scots seem to have something against the English all the time just for being English even if it is going to cost them.
