Im in constanta now ....i probably won't go much further up the coast before i start to head inland to Bucharest then around Transylvania areaMorningTam, hope your journey in Ro gets better than the border experience. What’s your plans for the next coming days? We should be enter Ro by the end of the week.
Why not just show your PolarstepsI wondered if the non stamp for Bulgaria may have caused problems but no idea about the other stuff. They asked about a resident card aswell and i told them i did not have one ...i didn't live in Bulgaria i was from Scotland etc ...no idea what they were talking about most of the time but their english was good ..he was just going on about treaties and immigration rules etc etc ... I never had any of that anywhere else. Also the guards had both already stamped my passport while tge 3rd guy was saying all this...it was very strange
it'll be like that at the Scottish border for us English when your leader gets her way with another referendum TamI never carry cash anyway so they would have needed a card machinethat soon sorts out any scams
The thing is ... Romania isn't in Schengen so nothing should have changed anyway regarding brits. Im still a European which is what i said to him. But i admit i have not looked up any entry requirements for romania.
Just not a pleasant start when entering a new country.

We are going via Ireland as they wont be far behind usAnd maybe the other way too?
Also there are no direct non-commercial vehicle links to the Continent from Scotland.
What slide?Did you or the dogs have a go on the slide Tam? Ours would be down it like a shot!

If you are not near Cernavoda, you are nowhere near Danube, from Cernavoda to Constanta its a man made channel to Black Sea. Was done during Ceaucescu times, to cut the sailing trough the delta. There’s still big ships coming from the sea trough the delta up to Tulcea, that’s the largest branch 1 of 3 of Danube delta.Sat now on the banks of the danube watching barges the size of Edinburgh go by .... hoping for a nice sunset to set of this old bridge

Yes i was getting a little disappointed with the coast ....it can look quite run down and depressing when everything is closed up and deserted. Needing a change of scenery. Although it feels strange that after following a coast for 3.5 months i now wont see the sea again till i hit the english chanelSo you left Constanta, Beautiful sun set.
Yes i saw that ...i will cross it tomorrow on my way to BucharestThere is another bridge at Fetesti, over borcea Danube branch.
Yes its on my list ... probably spend a while around that area. All the castles are up around that wayBrasov is a good place to visit if on your route
