Tam & co the great winter escape

Afternoon walkies ....the old stones is part of an ancient Byzantine wall but i cant tell you much more about it as no signs or information. Seems the greeks once cared about it and fenced it off but couldn't care less these days lol.

Moved east today to just north of lerossis ....hit snow again up in the hills which i wasn't expecting but thankfully all clear at the coast. Parked up on a beach with some interesting errosions ...had all the dogs out for a walk together and then took them all out 1 at a time to try and practice recall with them ...milo also needs work on this when hes distracted. Quite a few strays around and a few cats so using it to my advantage .

Fantastic cars, ride quality was the best in the world, I think the last one with that hydraulic oil suspension was the Citroen XM, my uncle had 3 of those , big car, fantastic to drive
Dad had an XM, electrical fault was a nightmare.Brother has 1968 ID 20 LHD.Superb cars classy and classic.

Nothing exciting to report today other than its been lovely and sunny and quite warm in the sun ....carried on north east ... did stop originally in a town about 5 miles back but too noisy so i carried on and im at another wee beach for the night. This coast is lovely and i imagine it would be just as nice as the Peloponnese in the summer time. Lots of nice coastal towns and lovely sandy beaches ....off course they are all like walking dead filmsets at the minute so no point in taking pics as the winter makes them all look charmless and rundown. So the only pics i have for you today is a 4th century concrete lion , and a few old wrecks , a unimog a magirus deutz and an old merc 811. ... last 2 pics is the beach I'm on. Theres a hot spring nearby but i drove up to it and it looked busy with nowhere to turn a big van around easily so i didn't bother.

Yes, my old boss had a top of the range Citroen XM - unfortunately, it was always at the garage being fixed. Mostly electrical problems I believe.

Can't believe you lot are still banging on about Citroen's 😁 ....worst bloody french car built.
Have had 2 or is it 3 C15e romahome, petrol and C3 both had gearboxes you could stir like a pudding, still trying to work out why i bought the C3 but probably price and availability the turning circle was 💩 Ex had a?BX with the suspension that went up and down, it wasn’t too bad, we fell out when I refused to change the wheel when he had a puncture, he phoned AA in the end, i did offer to talk him through it. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
I even looked at berlingos before I bought the doblo day van must be a glutton for punishment.
Enjoy the rest of your trip hope it is all plain sailing.
