Tam and Toby ~~ Hunting Zorba .....Take two.

Look out for the graffiti! My friend, Gabriela, visits Sivota every year and paints walls, dumpsters, rocks - anything that doesn't move gets 'Gabby'd ( with the permission of the mayor, of course!) šŸ¤£

Sorry but to me that is just vandalism. Itā€™s funny how these people seem to think itā€™s ok to graffiti others property but donā€™t graffiti their own.

What a strange comment. She has the backing of the whole town! There was a big problem with vandals 'tagging' which has now been covered up with bright, fresh paint.

I donā€™t see her graffiti as any better than others graffiti. I just donā€™t like graffiti anywhere by anyone.

The first pic shows vandalism ...the second shows art with permission

Surely they look better painted with something nice than just names and obscenities

Anything has to be better than the mindless tagging even plain magnolia and I for one like the idea of brightening up those dull dumpsters.
Tagging is the scourge of society, achieves absolutely nothing but drags an areas appearance/ reputation down as fast as fly tipping

Good luck to her

Maybe but I would prefer them left as they were when made. No paint on them at all

Yeah but that doesn't happen mindless idiots think its cool to spray their names over everything ....i noticed it bad in Spain also. Lots of old buildings, concrere benches at beaches , bins etc all covered in graffiti

I think its better when it at least looks artistic ...some of the street art is fantastic but other stuff is just gang nonsense and looks rubbish

Great pictures Northernraider
Your breakdown and return to Scotland must seem a distant memory now.
Bet you glad you persevered and set off again (y)
Looking forward to more photos
Looks like a great spot Tam to chill for a few days after all the driving. (y)

Never go anywhere without my Gumotex inflatable šŸ‘šŸ»
You need one of those blow up Kayaks. How many miles have you done to get there.
Yeah i fancy a blow up kayak but i wasnt sure about the dogs claws ....are they fairly tough?

According to polar steps its 2979miles so far

As luck would have it the young german couple here with a kayak have this one from decathlon that i had looked at online before .
I was worried it would just be rubber but it seems to be like a tough canvas material covering the rubber. It feels quite sturdy and hes offered me a shot of it if i like so i might try it tomorrow and if its good ....i may buy one in a few weeks when im near the greek decathlon store

Its a shame i hadnt got one in italy as they have loads of decathlon stores ..

I wouldnt go out far in one but these little coves are ideal
