Tam and Toby ~~ Hunting Zorba .....Take two.

well you made it , well done , I said I would put £10 in your account if you ever made it , I thought you may end up in Spain , send me your PayPal , no Tantrums just take it or I will be offended, have a bite to eat or a beer & show me the picture , not sure £10 will get you much lol 🤝
He can get himself a good meal and a beer (or two) for £10 there! Especially off season.

And dont say "malaka" to anyone
Interestingly that is often used as a very informal form of address to a good (male) friend

Yeah i fancy a blow up kayak but i wasnt sure about the dogs claws ....are they fairly tough?

According to polar steps its 2979miles so far
From our home in Pembrokeshire to the boat yard in Preveza it’s usually 1500 miles, give or take a few.

I have a few rods etc with me ....i just need to pick up some bait.
Head for a fishing shop and get some lures. Also bread. Bream love bread but you need to get through the little fish above them first. The Greeks use a line which looks a bit like a mackerel bobbing line with lots of hooks but no feathers, then wrap it around bread that’s been squeezed into a ball. Cheap supermarket sliced bread is best for this. My brother in law - a keen coarse fisherman who spends most of his waking hours with a rod in his hand when he visits us on the boat - declared it “barbaric” but he fishes for sport and we/you fish for dinner.
Good luck!

One of the germans said hes leaving tomorrow so im hoping to pinch his spot right at the tree line 😉

I also need charcoal for my BBQ

I may even get a few photos with bikini clad babes in the background for BreweryDave lol or some of the auld greek grannies who come here to swim 🤣🤣

We're on our way to Igoumenitsa now. May pop in to see you and our furry fourlegged ones can have a play together.

Looks like the Greek Tourist Board will give you a job. Time to slow down, and relax. Looks stunning where you are parked. Great. to get a break from all those castle photographs. Get that drone in the air and show us some stunning scenery to make us all more jealous than what we already are.

When you get fed up with all the sandy coves about 120km south is the nice village of Paleros with a mariner and the yacht club restaurant serves a good curry.
I do love a sandy cove.....and a curry 😉

Looks like your own sourced heaven Tam ... enjoy for all of us on lock down ...
It is a very nice spot i must say ...and its quite nice having a few other vans about too ...its felt a bit strange at times this year with not many vans anywhere.

But i do feel the odd one out with a motorhome lol

Great times for you, glad to see you’ve found a fantastic spot, absolutely ideal for a wind down.

But pleeeease don’t post any drone pics of auld Greek ladies (or men)! Now,the young Greek ladies............that’s another story from a long time ago that’s not for the public domain. ;) ;)

Ive always found the Greek people very welcoming and kind.

Great pics Tam. (y) (y)

So what time is it in the uk right now ? Because with all this clocks going back then forward im lost

THIS is more like it .....i know ive never been on mainland greece before and only a couple of the islands ...but to me anyway theres something about it that just lets you know you've arrived ....like Spain i think its the terrain ....or the atmosphere or just something i can't quite put my finger on ...but they are different ...they stand out
I find most of Europe to be a bit sameish ...like if you didnt hear the language or see the signs around you could in most places think you were in the same country. But ive never found that with spain or the greek isles .....its my thought anyway , others may not agree.

Anyway i couldn't get a kip in the carpark at igoumenitsa either so gave up and drove down the coast a bit and found this little cove ..... there's about 5 or 6 small german homebuilds parked up here ..has a bit of a hippy feel to it but its stunningly beautiful.

The water is warm , the Germans are friendly ..... perfect
