Tam and Toby ~~ Hunting Zorba .....Take two.

6;29pm
Tam go to the clock on your phone you can set as many time zones as you like. That's how we keep track of the times to call our daughter in Thailand.
Its cool my phone was showing it as 18.28 home and 20.28 here ....i just never realised there was a 2 hour difference.

We had a cheap package deal to Sivota, and I rented a 200cc trail bike, came round a corner to find a biggish tortoise in the road, 🙄 Janie picked it up to move it out the road and it hissed at her, 😀 things were all good until I decided to off road down a hill and parked on the beach 😉 I can still hear her screaming at me even now 20 years on. 😁
Needless to say she walked back up the hill. 😆 Bob.

Beautiful you jammy bleeder Tam, I'm stuck here in the north Pennines, wind howling outside, P1ssing down, freezing, pitch black, even the dogs just looked out turned there heads round at the door and nipped straight back in.

If only I wasn't working.
Aye I don't envy you ...i just hope the weather stays nice here over winter ...and i hope their month of lockdowns etc has the desired affect and things improve.

Theres always some noisy buggers eh who think because they want to party that everyone else wants it to ...

Not long after The Dudess left last night these 3 motorhomes turned up ....and proceeded to sit outside last night playing guitar ( badly) singing ( badly ) clapping n laughing ( loudly ) playing some sort of horn ( really badly like a child learning the recorder badly ) ....i spent a lot of yesterday telling milo not to bark at everything as he was disturbing people etc as i try to be considerate of others ......but i do wonder these days if im the only one .

The other vans that were all here yesterday when i arrived have all been quiet and just enjoying the peace and the sound of the sea , birds etc

It was still going on when i fell asleep around midnight but i do wonder why people who want to sit outside and party park up beside a lot of others who clearly don't.

I know theres no written rules out there when free/wild parking ....but what ever happened to common consideration?

He needs to give his Hymer a good wash too, never mind all that partying.
What nationality ?
Yeah and thats the cleaner of the 3 vans lol ....they are all french plated although the terrible singing was in English

They are travelling together and possibly travellers.
Hopefully they move on again today i planned to stay a night or 2 more

I would make sure your vans locked up if you leave it. It’s such a shame that again a few peaple can ruin it for everyone else. Hope they leave today for yours and the other peaple already there’s sake. (y)

Tam your beginning to sound like ma da , old age is catching up with you boy , I’d have grabbed a pot & some spoons ( & a beer ) and joined in , you Weren’t going to sleep anyway , the only antisocial behaviour was you not joining in 😄 , life’s to short , you might have made some new friends

We've only been disturbed by one late night, drunken singing party since starting our travels in July. I just put my ear plugs in. I think we've been lucky and that the covid rules has meant a lot less people are gathering in groups.

Enjoy paradise and well done for escaping a shit winter of lockdown!

You missed your chance to return the favour at 06:30 :)
I did yes ....and looks like they are staying as 2 german vans now gone and the other packing up ...french vans moved in to one of the spaces the other looks rather dissapointed that i had moved in to tge prime spot before him 🤣🤣

So i now have a better spot but noisier neighbour's

Ah well ...you cant have everything ....i will try to strike up conversation

The Frenchies are ok ....2 of the couple's are actually from an island near Canada and bought their old vans in france to travel ...the other one is from east of france

They are travelling together ....they all seem nice and can speak good english so can make conversation ....they have doggies too so jade and milo have friends to play with

If Milo would stop barking it would be grand

Milo is probably barking because of nervousness Tam so telling him off will just make him worse. If their dos are not aggressive leave Milo to make friend in his own time.

He's just always a noisy bugger but he gets better as he gets used to people..... unfortunately he probably annoys the life out them before then .....nothing worse than a barky dog

I might be inclined to agree with you Tam, I had my late Beardie for 15 years and never once heard her bark.
A chum of mine has two chauouas (can't even begin to spell that) and they are yappy little b...'s.
Querida, my young Mastin Espanol, a "livestoçk guardian breed" lives in a state of "red alert" and will bay if a beatle has the audacity to walk across her patio, and believe me her voice can be heard for miles!
They were bred to protect their flocks from predatory bears and wolves. Her recently acquired sister is a much more laid back easy going dog who rarely barks.
If you wanted your flock or family protected Querida would be your first choice. She and Milo are just following their instincts to warn off strangers.

While you are in Central Greece are you going for a nice walk up Mount Olymus?
If an old fart like me can do it will be a doddle for a youngster like you.
Ha ....you did it over a couple of days
Im keen but not that keen

I have to admit that I am biased, I hate shrill high pitched yapping but maybe it also acts as a repellent and it would be pretty weird if little Milo had a big deep voice.
He's just doing his very best to keep you safe lol 😁

Can't say I like your choice of music, but then I wouldn't have any idea how to make a video, never mind edit it and add music.
That little cove though really is a piece of heaven, thanks for sharing it.
