That definitely won't be happeningI reckon you should head down to Beni and park on a site for a few months.........
You normally have to get extra insurance to cover you for Bosnia. In normal circumstances you can buy it on the border. Our insurers wouldn't even sell it to us so we were going to get the ferry which liteally goes out to sea from Croatia and then comes in the other side of Bosnia. In the end we didn't and got the ferry to Ancona from Split and then came slowly back home that way.Where is the info that you can’t get through..? I haven’t seen anything..
When your in your motorhome or walking about it doesn't really matter how much Covid is about..If you are SD ing,,washing your hands at every opportunity ,wearing a face mask and not touching surfaces etc you are pretty much safe I reckon.BUSBY.I still think you should have gone down through Slovenia and Croatia, less cases there and no problems about ferries..
Tam Northernraider , have you seen this?
How have you got around it? Only asking not judging.

Was just going to say that.According to that UK government advice Tam entering from Austria only needed to complete a form and only needed to present it if asked at the border, which I presume he was not.
I do not see he had anything to get around.

Most northern one is Venice then Acona 100 miles further south.Id originally thought a ferry from italy to greece would be further south
I didn't enter from any of the countries listedTam Northernraider , have you seen this?

It was well worth a drive up there ....i love the mountains almost as much as i love the coast ...its always nice to be able to choose to see snow ha ha ....another stunning view around every corner ....just beautifulWell,I reckon that wherever you head from now on, it was worth going to that particular area!
Super pics and I bet that mountain air makes you feel good? Much better than languishing in some hot and smelly resort in Spain!
Us too. We've been in that area. Fabulous and fantastic. Lovely to see the colours and the grandeur. Thanks for helping us to relive some lovely places.Fabulous scenery, it always lifts my spirits to be among the mountains.

And im glad i did as i found this gem of a place to park up for tonight......what a view out the front window.....and all around.
Will take some more pics around here tomorrow.
Its dead quiet as theres a cemetery behind me
that’s for flying in not arriving via ferryHaving a look on google it seems you can get ferry from Italy to Greece at the minute
But
You must have a negative covid19 test done no more than 3 days before
Anyone know any other information on that?
today we crossed from Igoumenitsa to Ancona with Superfast /anek. It cost €434 but was Very busy and when I booked a couple of weeks ago there was very little space. Apparently they stop the camping on board option from 21st October.Unless it's changed in the last couple of weeks you didn't need a test to enter Greece by ferry. You can get camping on board from Venice to Igourmenitsa or Patras one way for about 250 euros and I believe they are operating that for another couple of weeks. If I was you and with the time you have ahead of you I'd get on the ferry and go to Greece, the mainland is a great part of the country to explore all the way across to Turkey and there's no reason why you could cross the border towards Istanbul if you wanted, a magnificent city.
Anek allow camping on board And keeping the dogs in the motor home. You must choose the open deck option. Minoan doesn’t allow camping on board and The beds In their cabins are extremely uncomfortable.Yeah im trying to find that at the minute ...im having difficulty with the dog part though as for some reason i can camp in motorhome on deck but its putting dogs in kenel ....cant find a way to change it
it still isI hope you filled up in Austria!! Past experience has told me fuel in Italy is much more expensive
I don’t know about viamare as we always book directly with the ferry companpies. Anek is always first choice. It's not necessary to put the dogs in kennels if you do camping on board with ANEK. You and the dogs overnight in your own van on the open deck part of the ship. Camping on board with Minoan is different and they insist you stay in a cabin. If in any doubt or having problems booking on line call Viamare http://www.viamare.com/ - they're very good.
Greece is fine re Covid numbers . Far fewer than Italy, France, U.K. and many other places. If we didn’t have to go home for family reasons we wouldn’t be.Yes thats one of my hesitations at present regarding greece ....im still deciding whether its wise to push ahead with that or postpone greece till another time.
Not an easy decision and one im battling with.
