Tam and Toby ~~ Hunting Zorba .....Take two.

Tam

You seem to be finding things more to your liking now, keep it up.

Now thatt the government have shut the campsites the aires might be full, but you should be OK with park4night as site people probably don't know about it, or one of those on board will be too scared to go it alone.

I am having agro with trying to re-register and it has now got to the lawyers' stage, from the official side not mine, but I have all the legal ammunition ready and I am sure I am on solid ground.

I hope you can find a booking for you and dogs if you decide that is what you want. Even if it is weeks ahead you can do more of Italy, as long as restrictions allow.

Cheers, Geoff

You better get a wiggle on Tam...temperature plummets to 23 degrees in two weeks time down here in Greece 😊. You never did send me the other fuse box diagram...my center lights went the other day so I took every fuse out and tested it to no avail....Then tapped the light and it came on ....doh...

Dordogne, Gascony, along the Riviera, San Remo, down through Tuscany, Umbria, Puglia, boat from Bari to Igoumenitsa sleeping on deck with a sea view, 9 hours...really good via Lenny HB recomendation of Viamare....they were great ! £325 one way then meandered on down the Peleponese stopping off to look at some old rocks at Olympia. Some great wild camping sites...and lots of goat hazards...

So we followed the ss52 today still heading east and still through the dolomites.... fantastic road again with amazing views and scenery ....climbed constantly till we were at 1282 metres above sea level and then back down again and stopped for lunch now at Ampezzo ....official aire here with all services ...normally €7 but free this year due to covid ....im the only van here

There is a small old caravan but looks like its just stored here.
I didn't actually need services but emptied and topped up anyway while i can

It was addressed to Tam who is in Italy, so work it out.

Info question has been answered.

Geoff
We are in Italy at the moment and no sign that we have seen of campsites being closed by the government. The posts referred to in this thread as ‘info’ seem pretty woolly.

PS Tam may be in Italy at the moment but appears to be heading to Greece, so could have referred to either country.

PPS Would be grateful for any fact-based info with links re Italian government closing campsites.
