Well looks like im missing that train . But 7 of those dog vans have now been led out the carpark back in direction of pet passport office ... nothing moving now and carpark is packed up

If there is no fresh air supply yo rear of vans the dogs will be dead inside. Dogs, especially multiple dogs die very quickly in enclosed spaces.

Yep and its actually quite warm at the minute ... nothing moved last 15 minutes complete gridlock and all sat with engine's running ...im tempted to go make a coffee ...

Sorry had to give that a funny for your last sentence. It’s keeping me entertained hope you won’t be too much longer now . It’s upset me about those dogs though being in vans without hardly any fresh air. I wonder if it will be on the news, just to see what happens to them.

Finally through all the bullshit ... everything checked inside searched etc

Back in another queue to hopefully now board ....its now 90 minutes after my train should have left ....so will likely be 2 hours late by the time loaded and departed.

No idea but there is easily 35 -40 in total queud up here ...ive seen a few of them being escorted back to the passport place. Quite a few vans also have 3 or 4 guys in them and they keep swapping passengers ... not sure if this is a one of or happening every day ...bit chaotic

i did get asked a lot of questions when i left uk where ive been etc etc but no physical checks at uk border

Their queue moved faster but the uk one has all those sprinter vans going through which i think is causing the backup

Talking to another brit just now and he's saying the same thing about the dog vans ....he counted 46 Romanian sprinters

Yep i think some have been turned back or having to visit pet control again.
I did think it strange that some were taking one dog at a time in ...they fould have a few more dogs in there than they are having checked. I mean really no one actually checks ... you could probably bring a dog through here without declaring it

They might not have satisfied Eurotunnel they were a charity. There’s a limit of five animals if not!

I've paid around 35 euro for one dog before, the best I had was 20 euro near Brugges.
Its supposed to include a general examination, health check and passport stamp in the fee.
Nice little earner for the vets.
Probably closer you get to Calais the more they charge ?

The best we got was €4.30 for 2 dogs including the tablet, that was at Teruel on our way back from Benidorm.. it’s been our regular stop for 3 years now.
