So the covid test ...i was given a sheet of paper with website to access results

The website denies me access ....stating a security denial ....it does the same on my phone and my tablet and jackie has the same problem..

Its something to do with my ip address im assuming because its a British one.

Who knows but either way i cannot access the website for results

So ive tried phoning ....and its automated in Italian with options of 5 different numbers to press
Cant understand it so i pressed 1st one ...3 more garbled options jjst kelt pressing 1 ...finally get some woman no speak English. . She goes to find someone who can and returns with someone else who cant ....and cannot make myself understood ...she keeps telling me to book a test online

Pharmacy normally have someone who speaks English, worth a try.

Another option few of options.
A cheap Italian Sim.
Any cafes or supermarket with WiFi or town wifi, tourist office will be closed but WiFi may be on.

Find someone who speaks English see if they will let you connect to a hot spot on their phone.

Now that's a good idea, I would download Tunnel Bear one of the more reliable ones and you get I think you get 500mb free.

Second thoughts I don't think that will work unless you are outside Italy, you can't setup a tunnel in the same country you would need to get across the border.

Tam are you still looking for somewhere to take a test in France? Assuming you get a -ve result eventually and you’re allowed out of Italy.

Went to the aire to empty my toilet and grey and there were 2 Italian motorhomes here and i thought i would ask if they spoke english but before i got a chance one came out shouting at us that we shouldn't be here ...waving his hands and shouting .. spitting on the ground and saying you go ...you not right to be in italy ...country in lockdown disgusting etc

I lost the head and basically told him to f off while Jackie tried to tell him we were transiting home etc ....bit of a richard head if you ask me ...anyway im off to try the pharmacy

Surely if Italy is in lockdown they shouldn't have been there either.
