Never been there but I would like to visit it ...
Check the opening times. When I went there half of it was closed for refurbishment did you know you can sleep in a cell there and I believe that there is a restaurant there. Probably potato soup😀

By the way if you switch your phone to aircraft mode it will charge quicker. And a little aeroplane wil appear top left to remind you.✈️

because of the ongoing problems with my gearbox , I may be changing my MH again 🤕 ,I’m always interested in hearing other people‘s opinions , apart from the gearbox I’m happy enough with it BUT if I’m changing I might go a little smaller but capable of achieving the same results, so something similar to the one you seen on eBay

Something with a garage to take a motorbike and on a 4.5 - 5 tonne chassis but still around 7 metres and non tag

This caught my eye but unfortunately I had already left UK when it was listed

I also like the idea of a garage that could do that, but currently too lazy to look around.

But what would you do with the dawgs and a motorbike? Goldwing with a sidecar or trailer wouldn’t fit!

They would just stay in the van at times when I was riding it.

With doing the deliveries for 9 months they've got quite used to being left on their own for a while now ...whilst I do take them everywhere I can with me there are places I can't take them and they just have to live with that like other folks dogs.

It's getting the best of both worlds and a happy medium ...to be honest I might well change my mind again by the time I'm finished this trip .,..but if the right van at the right price appears then I'm likely to change. I have the money to buy newer etc so time will tell.

Toby suits me 90% I'd say ...there's just a few things I'd rather have that makes fulltiming a little easier

I know that it’s not usually available on a motorhome but since having a black tank instead of a thetford slide, life has been so much easier. You never know sometimes American imports have them.

That is OK because there are two of them, better than leaving one dog on its own.

I keep telling myself that I want and need a pvc.... so why do I keep liking these large vans...😆
I too have thought of a pvc ...but for me it's just not practical ...anything smaller than 7 metre would be hard fulltiming I reckon .. especially at times like this when you are cooped up inside ..

Been cold and wet here today ...bloody weather ...

Got test results back I'm so pleased

Down in Spain weather sunny 🌞 but heading north and home 🏠 so will be enjoying your adventure 👍

So easy to do the right thing Tam even though a little inconvenient. Gives you peace of mind. Time to move on and enjoy your travels.
Glad you did'nt adopt the attitude from" the motor on brigade and all will be fine".

For those who missed my wee joke I apologise for my daft sense of humour ....I'm still awaiting my test results ...in honesty I don't expect them before Tuesday but can hope they may come tomorrow...so I can move as both myself and the dogs are bored to tears ...not only are we stuck in the van bar a quick walk round carpark here and there but it's cold and damp here just now so we would like to move on and hopefully get some better weather.

I also need a few bits of shopping etc so hopefully the clear result comes soon

Heaven forbid it says positive or I'll be living on soup 3 times a day for the next fortnight lol

I'm considering converting to a black tank so you might be able to answer a few questions (if you don't mind). What capacity is your black tank (litres) and how long does it last empty to full? Is it remote from the toilet & if so what system is used to get the toilet contents to the tank.

Surprises some dog owners... but hounds often enjoy some time-outs...
As long as they are confident you're coming back, pups are happy on their own
Yes to be honest when I'm here with them a lot of the time jade goes and lies in the cab away from us .....Milo is the clingy one but when I'm not here he just goes and cuddles in to jade and they sleep .

They will hopefully live a good 10 - 12 years yet and as I'm not retired who knows what jobs I'll be doing in that time so it was good that they got used to me not being there all the time. Something I need to make a point of doing on this trip to is spending time without them here and there
