Tam and Toby ~~ Hunting Zorba .....Take two.

I too have thought of a pvc ...but for me it's just not practical ...anything smaller than 7 metre would be hard fulltiming I reckon .. especially at times like this when you are cooped up inside ..
But you don't really walk about much in a van.As long as the lounge is comfortable..Storage at first was a bit of problem but 6 years in to a small van we have downsized our wardrobes. This year other than underpants ( 12 pairs) I have worn 3 pairs of shorts, two t shirts and 2 pairs of socks. Bottom of the draw for emergencies I have tracker bottoms and light weight fleece. If I need anything else I can buy it..BUSBY.

Yes to be honest when I'm here with them a lot of the time jade goes and lies in the cab away from us .....Milo is the clingy one but when I'm not here he just goes and cuddles in to jade and they sleep .

They will hopefully live a good 10 - 12 years yet and as I'm not retired who knows what jobs I'll be doing in that time so it was good that they got used to me not being there all the time. Something I need to make a point of doing on this trip to is spending time without them here and there
Small dogs long lives Tam.Jack Russell of ours was 16 and Fox Terrier was 17 when they passed away.Had a GSD that lived an active life until 14. BUSBY

You don't but like today for instance I've varied between sat in the front seats reading, sat in the lounge with my feet up and lying on the bed watching TV etc ...all without having to move anything .

I've yet to see a pvc with a loungeable lounge and a decent fixed bed ..

It's usually a compromise somewhere

And as you say storage for fulltiming is very important..

Where do you store outside tables chairs etc in a pvc ...fishing gear? , Tools , BBQ etc

I hope so 😁 I'm just going on my ex partners yorkies and my mum's yoshons...which were all around 13

I have a good mix - 2 x Whippets and a Vizsla that are happy to be left in the van. The Whippets are noisy if anyone comes too near so I close blinds. I have a camera in the van now that proves what I've always known: they just sleep. We normally don't leave them more than 3 hours but on occasion 4 hours hasn't been a problem.
