By my calculation and based on the fact that I am 5 11, weigh 76kgs......I think I am quite slim, so so must you be.

You are not saying where you are and not had maps for a while.

I assume you are working your way westward along the north coast of the Gulf of Corinth. Where is the place with the causeway enclosing a lagoon please?

Today is the start of a week of bad weather and cold temperatures ....its cold dull and windy today and forecast for rain later ( edit ...rain just started as im typing this ) ....not a good combination as im getting very little solar but will possibly need the heating this evening. I do wonder how this van was ever designed to cope with just one original gel battery.

Anyway Jackie doesn't want to move today so gonna stay here another night

So will be a day of hibernating and coffee drinking.

Anyone thats bored back in blighty and can do a better job than me of locating somewhere to get a covid test done in the north of greece on you go and report your results.

Surprisingly not ....if you close all the blinds in your motorhome but have 4 skylights on it you get a good bit light in
Then with lighter colours inside its quite bright.

All those glass windows would be a nightmare for condensation and cause damp issues overtime. I plan to have 4 skylights ....and i may fit 2 seitz sliding double glazed windows one either side behind the cab

Cab will be closed off from the rear too.
I sheeted over my window apertures with aluminium sheet from Service Metals Ltd.

Yeah i considered doing this method of putting aluminium in the original window rubbers ...like this guy has done

But i think id prefer to just weld in new steel and brace bars for a smooth finish.

If i have any windows in the rear i think they would have to be double glazed units rather than the single glazed glass ones.

Thanks. I thought the lagoon shots were a new place after Alyki.

Don't you want to see nice outside views at all? Because you won't even get any through the cab windows if that has a bulkhead.

Now I do like that a lot.

I think nicholsong is right about the views with a fixed bulkhead and of course you will also have tge loss of a 'traffic view' at tricky junctions that can be gained from a window behind the passenger seat.
A way around this might be no bulkhead but heavy blackout curtains the length of which could be adapted to fit in with your sofa plan and instead of a double bench seat in front, you could have a single seat and make a padded dog box seat to go in the niddle. This arrangement would also still give you direct access to tge cab.
There! Thats you sorted! 🤣

With the sofa directly behind the cab i can see out if the barndoor is open ...but as said i may fit a double glazed slider in the side door and the panel opposite ive not fully decided yet. But i dont want singled glazed windows in the back so all exsisting windows will be removed and plated over. Then if i decide i want windows ill buy proper motorhome ones like is in my hymer ... But tinted for security.

Nah ...the bulkhead is a definite. That having to remove heavy condensation from cab windows is one of my biggest gripes living in a van.

Already have a doggy nest planned in the build . The dogs like to see where they are going and as milo is a bit nervous on noidy bumpy roads having jade next to him and in comforting patting range is a priority and a reason for a double cab seat . The road view etc isnt a problem as i regularly drive with all my blinds closed just now.

In Spain in hot weather i never had them open

Hmm! Haven't given up yet😀.
In my home conversion skudo that I had for a couple of years whilst still in Scotland The hesvy duty, double thickness black out curtainthat I teplaced the bulkhead with, if closed at night solved the condensation problems. The back would be toasty with myself and two collies but the cab the other side of the curtains would be like a deep dreeze - hence no condensation.

Nice looking van, would love to see some pictures of how they have been finished inside. Should be a great project to follow during the 'next lockdown'.

Doesn't fit in with my cosy cabin design

When its cold and damp im inside hibernating ...when its nice dry and sunny im outside.

Im already picturing snug on the sofa with dogs ... woodburner crackling away ...hot chocolate and a good book .
