If I hadn't already said "yes", that would have tempted me. Flava Special looks interesting. Set meal for 4 looks good value but I don't think I could eat it all in one sitting...

A lovely idea but reluctantly it's a no, as I'm still trying to get to grips with my blood sugar levels.

The Drum and Monkey pub has been mentioned, it's a 5 minute drive from Upton, has a grass area, a large car park and a toilet block for campers. We stayed on it last year, just parking on the pub car park area as it suited us. Had a meal and a couple of pints, we would use it again if we were in the area.
 
We left home 0900 and are on our way to Upton. Looking forward to meeting everyone this pm. ETA according to Satnav is 1239. Alice is driving, so might be earlier! I'm in the doghouse for forgetting watering can in case we need to top up water, though we are travelling with a full tank

@scottie thinking of you and the family. Hope treatment goes really well... difficult time but it does pass and the last bout of treatment will be a celebration.
 
Sorry Scout, so far no mention of radiotherapy, will need an operationy some point to remove some benign stuff.

Good morning campers. Hi de Hi!

You all had a very lucky escape this morning when I pressed the wrong button on my key ring to unlock the door at 0615! The little blue Growler light started to flash which gave me 10 seconds to turn it off before that ear slitting siren started! Alice doesn't know yet but when she reads this I expect she will take charge of both sets of keys! For those who missed the mist that @Debs referred to, it looked like this! The other picture is of the Curry house we are looking forward to on Saturday lunchtime.
 
The pub next door is very very nice as well, we had lunch there yesterday - recommended by a local. The Anchor:)(y)
 
Ps. The paper shop in the town has a barista and is open every day from 4:30am including Sundays. Nice lady gave the dogs biscuits whilst she brewed the latte!

Pps does anyone know a good barrister so I can sue Apple Spellchecker
