Sorry another question . Will mobility scooters get through were we will cut through to the area area Karen ?
 
For anyone that might be concerned about strict security please don't be as we have met & worked with both sets of security teams that will be at Sunshine & have found them to be friendly & helpful as well as very good at their job :)

If we can find out before I will let you know on arrival but can't promise as we will be really busy!

We are really close & are planning our area (subject to checking ground conditions on arrival) so that our fire lanes go straight out onto the main access road then that runs almost to the arena entry point so should be fine. If you need to be as close as possible then with you arriving early (down as midday) please remind us on arrival & we will do our best to pitch you as close as possible to the road. Any queries after Wednesday am when we will be offline just see us there or call the number we have given you for Alan but please note that mobile reception is patchy in Upton.
 
One entry ticket and two adult camping tickets received and in camper ready.
If it helps we should be arriving between 5-6pm on Thursday.
So looking forward to seeing all the bands.

Had a few queries - please note that although we can arrive two hours earlier (midday) than general campers on Thursday everyone must leave on Monday morning before midday at the latest. We would appreciate it if we can have our area clear by 11.30am on Monday morning as know that would make the festival staff very happy & good feedback from them helps us when negotiating both Mello & Sunshine Meets for next year (y)
 
Hi all you knowledgeable festival people, we are going to Sunshine at the weekend, although not with lovely Funsters. Is anyone able to tell me if there are allocated, measured camping pitches in the general motorhome area? Will there be space to erect an awning?

No not in general camping the only spacing rule is to keep the fire lanes clear & no marshals to pitch you so get there early & stake your space! Would get your awning out quick too or you will find a tent there!
Maybe book into the Fun & RVOC area next year?! :giggle:

Thanks for your help, really useful. We'd bought tickets before I found out that there would be a Funsters gathering.
Fingers crossed for a decent dryish weekend. We'll pop over and say hello.
 
And don't forget VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION..... the chip shop in THIS street is the bestest ever ... don't be put off by queues .. they move quickly.

More cancellations - 2 adult tickets available for donation to Jim's daughter's charity courtesy of @jockaneezer - need to be quick & get this all sorted tonight if wanted.
 
More possible social events - possible lunchtime curry (no clash with major Sunshine acts like at night) on Saturday - if we can get enough people an Upton curry house may open for us if we have enough interest! It gets great Tripadvisor reviews https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Resta...n_Severn_Malvern_Hills_Worcestershire_En.html , fairly priced & 5 hygiene rating. We had a really good meal there when we were at Upton Blues (y)Anyone interested?
Also how about going to the Sunshine Circus 1pm Sunday (pick up your free tickets at the Box Office) - should be a laugh?!

We want to check the programme too - don't want to miss any major acts but understand they are all afternoon & evening but will double check & need confirmation that the restaurant will open but sounds promising :)

Looks like the curry house can take up to 55 & 13 possibles so far - anyone else?
We will pop in & check with them tomorrow so should know for when everyone arrives on Thursday if a definite option for Saturday lunchtime arriving at 12.30. Please keep posting here if you may be interested & once you are there & have seen the programme please confirm back to us - we will have a list running on Thursday night!
