For those who like the Weissbeir Heffe, I find that Lidl's Perlenbacher brand in the plastic bottles, has more flavour than Erdinger Weissbeir.
Aldi's Karlskrone brand isn't bad either, but not as tasty as Lidl's. (y)

We loaded up with liquid refreshments at Globus last night and had a really good meal in there. Damn cheep too, 14 Emus for two courses including a beer for two. Will be off up to Aldi shortly for the solids then on the road again. Cannot make my mind up whether to head for Bacharach on the Rhine before heading to Munich, or go direct across country to Munich. We have got quite used to the river and will miss it a lot.

So, I go to Benidorm and pop around to see you and you’ve popped home for a week, I drive down to the Mosel and get to Mehring and you leave and go to Munich, I know in some people’s eyes I may have a bad reputation but are you avoiding me Dave?:):rolleyes::confused:
 
Sorry I didn’t get to meet up at the Beach Bar with you last night, had a very early tea as with the long drive, hot sun, Reisling and cider, I was wasted so had an early night, maybe laters(y)

Just passed Mehring on way back from Trier couldn't drop in as had ice creams in the panniers , by the look there wouldnt have been room for the scooter anyway :D2
 
Afternoon all we had a cruise ship dock in front of our riverside pitch, so in true yorkshie fashion i asked for free beers, we h ave been drinking them all afternoon, and i have just had a job offer of entertaianments manager on tne boat, look at the window can you see the card,

We managed a FLT tonight at the stelplatz at Germersheim. The machine that collects the 6 Emus is caput. Its always better to be born lucky than good looking :).

Arrived at the Rhine just north of Koblenz €7 for 24 hours nice hard standing overlooking the river but not as picturesque as the Mosel which we will more than likely hit tomorrow
