Not now, we just arrived this mofning at 10.00 and drove straight onto a riverside pitch. All setup now and just waiting for the boat/ship to move.

Yes, we stayed there last night, and shopped this morning. Are you the Brit couple with the two dogs, who later parked up at Globus?

BTW, whilst up at the Aldi/Lidl car park, I called in to the TUV Staion there, and managed to get myself another Green (4) Umwelt Plakette ;) to replace the one I lost when the blooming windscreen was replaced. :(
I'm just glad I didn't have to shown my V5. ;)

We are at Ediger-Eller, and will be catching the 10.00 hrs boat tomorrow, for Traben Trarbach, returning at 17.05 hrs.

Cheers,

Jock. :)

Not us. No dogs, just a grey Hymer - though they call it Champagne. All I know is the paint cost us 33kg of payload ;-)

Train to Cochem for us today, though that boat trip sounds interesting.

Wander down for a cuppa ill stick our flag out

Currently on Stellplatz in Neumegan-Dhron. Nice village. Good facilities on site - showers, loos, washing machine, drier, free wi-fi but unable to get a TV signal probably due to trees. The rows of pitches are situated side-on to the river so only a very few get a uninterrupted river view - we didn't get a very nice pitch. 17 euros incl all facilities.

Thinking of moving tomorrow to Wintrich Stellplatz - anyone likely to be around?

I put our flag out and we managed a small gathering, anybody fancy a night out at one of the resturants shout up, if you have any preferance. Personly i fancy somewhere thats a short walk home.

General concensus seems to be 18:30 at our site bar as its not far to walk back.

Dabhand is in the bar at Mosel Beach eating schnitzel! It’s hot and the reisilng is good

Having dug the van out of my pitch at Reil which we have been occupying for the thick end of 2 months. There was an almighty rush to take over my pitch by the Herman's. I left em to it and trundled off to Globus at Zell where we will sit the night out, before setting off on a steady wander over to Munich to catch the beer festival. Have had my share of this Riesling now and a change of beverage should be good.

Well I must admit I do like to spread out a bit Brian :).

And the cash, you will be sorely missed. What a huge success it has been. It's given me food for thought.

And again at 16.00 ish, on our way back, but by that time the washing was in.

We had a quiet night up near (but not at) Globus. (y)

Cheers,

Jock. :)

Bloody hell, thats some zoom you have on that Jock. That must be a kilometre :). We finally got away about 14-30.

Am almost sure it will be an annual event, God willing :).

Incha'Allah. Lets cover all bases.

We were watching the Rimini grand prix last weekend. Sun, location, everything. I'm thinking Moselle and Italy would be a dream ticket, incha'Allah.

NB. Don't knock incha'Allah, if you've ever crossed the road in Marrakesh you'd know that incha'Allah and walk with confidence actually works. There is no other explanation as to how you reach the other side.

The Hofbrauhaus is practically our local :D.
Have never been a fan of Hofbräu (always gives me a bad head) try Augustiner instead....the one across the road Augustiner am Platzl is great :-)
