Looking for somewhere for tomorrow near Koblenz but for 3 vans, how busy is ti and how long can you stay please?

@scotzsue you can stay as long as you want we got the last pitch at about 2.30 and there has been a steady procession of vans trying to get a pitch but to no avail
There is a large car park next door where a few vans have parked up for the night
Lovely stellplatz right on the river with bike lanes along river.
Frequent buses to Koblenz
Dutch lady on pitch next to us reckons all Koblenz stellplatz and campsites full to capacity at minute

When you enter village look out for camping car signs as co ordinates take you down really narrow lanes to river

Easy. Maybe an hour journey, it was a few years ago. You go through 2 locks. The stop is just the other side of the flyover.

Boats on this river can be loaded with metal for Audi.

Where are you off to? We're still at Wintrich (photo) and will be here another couple of nights. Going on the boat to Bernkastel today.

With Scout going from Mehring (where we are at the mo.) would it be a good idea for Funsters when they are posting on here to give some indication as to if there are places at their Stellplatz.

There were none here from about 2.00pm yesterday and as one van left the front row (not Scout) was filled instantly by a Brit from the I.O.M.

@scotzsue we have just left and there are 3 empty spaces, one being the front row. Looks like a few others might be leaving too. Enjoy

We're at Wintrich. There are people coming and going all the time. We reallty like this stellplatz and it's very close to the town. Not all pitches have elec. We have a frontline pitch with elec. I think the best time to arrive anywhere is between 10:00 and 10:30. There is a parking place by the site where you could lurk clutching your chairs until a nice pitch becomes available. If you turn left at the barrier, we are on the right hand side at the far end.

We’re at Neef. Many depart/arrive each day. Not enough EHU for everyone and you may need two cables if you get a river front pitch. Always space somewhere on the site. No showers/toilets but otherwise serviced (9 euros including EHU). Bread, ice cream, wine vendors morning or evening. Hourly trains to Cochem (7 minutes, 3 euros), Bullay, Zell etc

You need to like explosions here

At Reil, we needed to connect 3 x EHU cables to reach the last available socket in the box, and that was down to the eagle eyed Rita again.

Currently at Ernst on the Weingut Stellplatz, where there are about 5 x spaces. I can't comment on the other Stellplatz behind the Baccerie.

Been on Mosel for last few days
Not seen any sits that are full though they are busy
Was on the site at Berncastle Kues the other day which has been taken over by Knaus camping and have renovated facility’s but have whacked up the price
Only notice one stilplatze full yeasterday somewhere but there was a wine fest starting Friday

If you come off the roundabout at the bridge and head uphill slightly to the right you should be able to spot it
We went on bikes so not sure what space there is to park a van

We are all at Koblenz on the campsite, expensive, but we didn't realise it was Rhein in flames this weekend we had a good few nights where we didn't pay so that will make up for it. Anyone else here?

If you are at Reil, there is a free electric bike charging point by the toilets.
