Morocco 2015

Settle down now chaps, let's have a bit of "entente cordiale". :ROFLMAO::p

Exactly, they could only see a tiny bit of beach between two vans anyway. Can you come down here in your tiny red pinny and sort them out please? They are never going to argue with you in that outfit, bring some of those chillies you were telling us about, we could give them some as a peace offering, that will teach um!
If I give them those chillies they'll be dumping their plop outside your van!:D

Picture taken of on the R104 to Tiznet which is fine and open. So is the P1919 and R102 to Guelmim. All OK. The Thermal baths are at N29.0958016* W10.0177332*. The parking is right outside the men's baths but they have mixed bathing from 7Pm for 15D

Forgot to say there is a new road not on the Michelin map. It goes from Azgour to Issafen. This saves going from Igrhem if coming from the east to tafraoute or west to Tata. It does appear on maps.me. It is brand new as the old road is now a mess

Sorry for not getting back sooner, we're only staying the one night and heading north up to Agadir (not sure where staying yet) in the morning.
Were at Camping Alantica on the Agadir road (N1) to Taghzoute.....well recommended super site..were off to where your coming from:)

Just arrived in Tan Tan, possibly going to stay a couple of night, will see how it goes, bit of admin to be done, the stiff breeze will certainly help to dry the washing.

We are there also At the end between Rue de Casablanca and Rabat ? no 552

We left Marrakech yesterday morning early and made it to Boumalne Dades before dark. The site there was virtually empty, just one French van.
The hotel itself was dark and empty and apparently had no residents since April.
Although the restaurant was closed, the owner offered to make us beef tajines and opened the dining room for us as we just couldn't be arsed cooking after a pretty long day.
Got away eaRly again this morning and currently on our way to Merzouga. We have done about 100 miles and have only Sen one othe MH coming the other way and that was British! Where are all the French? When we did this road last year we were passing MHs every few minutes.

They are in Spain and Portugal. Crawling all over the place with their 'A' frames and trailers taking up all the space, what's more, dumping their grey in anything that looks like a grid. I think I had better stop there.
Have a good trip guys, see you next year. (How to make God laugh - tell Him your plans)

Some of the battle wagons on the Ethiopian camp site. There are some expensive looking quad bikes and sexy little cars too. Plus the odd goat and camel LOL

How you folks down there finding the availability of beer and wine?
Not much about here. I'm told you can buy it around £17.00 for a bottle of wine but not readily available. Best stock up before catching ferry. If you want large boxes of wine (Not Bottles) get them in France, non available in Algecerias.

just take three cans of beer and a litre of wine per person per day with you. if you want to take more do. if you dont drink it sell it . makes yours even cheaper.

Just bought 1/2 kilo of fresh monkfish line caught by lamp light last night. :reel:. It was filleted outside the van and looks and looks really meaty and only cost 35 dirhams or £2.60.
Not many Ethiopians Refugees get to taste monkfish don't you know.:reel:

Arrived at Tiznit midday, 'Camping International' full with, yes you guessed it French, I could have swore I saw Napoleon's Infantry Battle flag hoisted above a German motorhome perhaps they were related to the old Vichy government......no, I don't hate the French just their arrogance
anyway's Tiznit in my opinion should'nt on your tick list....Oh bye the way its now raining:cool::cool:

We are so enjoying all the posts. 100% looking forward to our Morocco late 15 early 16 trip. Taking lots of notes so please keep posting.

It's been a tough day here in the desert.
I left the van before 10 to try and walk to the top of the dunes when it was 18C. An hour and a bit later I turned back having made it only two thirds of the way. By the time I got back to the van about 11:30 it was 28C in the shade.
Absolutely Scorchio here today.
We got talking to a young Spanish bikini clad girl by the pool who said she liked the sun. After about half an hour though she said she was too hot and was going in the pool. Now the pool is unseated and it doesn't sem to matter how hot it is, the pool doesn't get much above freezing. The señorita dived in and I swear she levitated straight back out again!
Dinner tonight was Madras curry followed by bread and butter pudding done in the Remoska. It just doesn't get any better than this!

Had a similar experience at le Relais, not bikini clad girls but levitating out of the pool!!

We have seen beer and wine in the Carrefours. Bought some Moroccan wine for approx €4.50. Not drank it yet so no idea if it's good or not. I did notice that the European wine was more than you would pay in the UK but not that much. You must have expensive tastes Philip!

The small Carrefore in central Marakech sold booze, as did the big one near Essaouira.

I swam corner to corner at the pool in Ait Benhadouh very quickly last year and a few dips in the sea at Tagazoute but the best pool was at Merzouga at Kasbah Tombuctuo , Then the pool at the campsite at Mhamid south of Zegora , we spent a while in there until the sandstorm arrived .......
