Got an additional 180 watts of Solar Panel fitted today. The deal Id agreed with Fouhami Jilali was that he must get me a new Steca PR2020 Charge Controller. True to his word, he turned up this afty and said he would fit a 180 watt panel, change my 10 amp Steca for the new 20 amp (part ex the 10 amp Controller). Teed the new solar panel into the existing panel, thus negating the need for new cabling from the roof to the Controller as the existing cable is about 6mm anyway, and the cost was 3700 Dhirams which equates to £272.

Cheapest Steca PR2020 on eBay is around £130, and 180w solar panels are at least £175+ and Fouhami fitted everything, so Im well chuffed.

Cooked dinner in the Remoska tonight all courtesy of the lovely sunshine.

Off to see Mustafa in Agadir in the morning to have a new tap fitted, so thought I'd give my liver a rest and have an early night as I'm bloxed after walking about 4 miles down the beach in the heat today, dogs knackered too, not a peep for a change apart from when the guardian knocked for his money, thought he was going to leave a parcel on the step!

Morning all, another smashing day. Still having problems with internet, keeps dropping out and Mena's tablet is timing out and unable to send emails. Suspect it's poor signal as both tablets suffering from same issues. (Not going to move though!) Might ask Colin to do a health check for me, he knows his are from his elbows on theses matters. Sent a large heard of sheep and goats going through the campsite this morning. Oddly enough looks perfectly natural here and ads to the ambiance, IMO. Would not go down well in the UK too many political corrects around. Chap pulled up this morning with fish to die for. What a varity! I had 1 kilo of monkfish for about 4 squid. Cheap as chips.

Currently at Sidi Ifni (Camping El Barco (No Christmas cake this time TerryL)), after an uneventful journey from Aglou Plage. We travelled on the metal road from Aglou Plage to Gourizim and then onto the R104. Once again, it is quite obvious that this area suffered considerable damage from the torrential rain that hit before Christmas. Bridges that were washed away have been repaired (to a fashion), but all that we have come across we have been able to negotiate quite easily. Of the 4 campsites here in SIDI IFNI, only 2 remain, both camping SIDI IFNI and camping GRAN CANARIA have been washed away, as has the main road bridge into town. The beach is covered in debris to such a point that the surfers have to climb over mounds of debris to get into the sea (I think even TONKA may have struggled to get across the beach to the sea).

The R104 from TIZNIT to SIDI IFNI is passable, the bridge which was washed away, has been repaired, we saw another MH negotiate it quite easily.

It is nearly 1 year to the day since we were last here and to be quite honest we are very surprised at the lack of MH here, it was packed this time last year. Going to move across to GUELMIN later today and then possibly on to TAN TAN.

Fish to die for? That's a shark mate! Watch out for the teeth, make a necklace with them and you'll trade for 5 camels around here!

Now working fine, both tablets blazing away, emails received and sent. MiFi upside down in corner of table, might even draw a line around It's location. Yipee!
Same problem, iPhone fine, iPad dropping in and out, hey ho

Offending tap removed, new tap is just a tad bigger, so he's now cutting a hole in the sink to make it fit! Will be able to supply Taghazoute with water at this rate!!

Sorry about lack of dialogue!!!! forgotten how awful photobucket is to navigate:(

We left Marrakech yesterday morning early and made it to Boumalne Dades before dark. The site there was virtually empty, just one French van.
The hotel itself was dark and empty and apparently had no residents since April.
Although the restaurant was closed, the owner offered to make us beef tajines and opened the dining room for us as we just couldn't be arsed cooking after a pretty long day.
Got away eaRly again this morning and currently on our way to Merzouga. We have done about 100 miles and have only Sen one othe MH coming the other way and that was British! Where are all the French? When we did this road last year we were passing MHs every few minutes.

@SUGGY - wall to wall sunshine here. We are sat having lunch of the car park of the new Marjane on the outskirts of Guelmim (N28*58.089 - W010*01.944). On route to Plage Blanc.

Thats Good . keep posting the weather reports .please
