He does it so that us delicate types, who can't stand it too hot, know where NOT to go:xrofl:

And for everybody else to get insanely jealous:xangry:

Not confirmed but a guy I was talking to a couple of days ago told me the harbour parking in Essouira is no longer.
Signs up forbidding m homes.
Still ok at other end but a bit of a walk for some.
It may alter the plans of those who like to be in the thick of it but as a town we would recommend a visit.

That's a shame. We ran out of time and missed it last time so were kind of planning a stop there "outward". No doubt we'll learn more later.

Stupid question #1 what port are we leaving from? :xblink:

Found it in page 1 - Algeciras, is that right?

Hi Terry
Did you manage to negotiate a price with Carlos ? also was you able to get a deal for the 3 vans leaving on the 8th ?

Yup! Full details when we meet up and get the tickets.:xwink:

CIN number

Just sorting out the paperwork and printing off the Police Checkpoint sheets when I realised I've renewed my passport.

Does anyone know if I continue to use the CIN issued last year or must I get a new one on the way into Tanger-Med? I'll carry the old passport with me but is the CIN tied to the passport or the person?

And then when filling out the entry document am I a first-time into Maroc or a returning visitor?
CIN you get a new one with new passport,

Just finished re-reading morocco 2014 thread, all 98 pages of it.
It has taken over a week managing to find the time in a hectic schedule!
There is a lot of useful info to be gleaned from the pages for anyone who has the stamina.

I have jotted down quite a few coordinates we may use, taken on board advice and experiences and had more than a few chuckles as I came across posts that also prompted some great memories.

I am looking forward to catching up with the tales of travels this year as I am sure many others are, whether coming over or reading from afar.

re: pre-crossing campsites

Bella Vista finally have come back to me and want €26 per night. I think that's too much, as well as the tightness of some of the pitches we were allocated last year. So I've booked 8 places at Parque Tropical, nr Estepona. €14 with ACSI card, otherwise €16.70 (I'll try and twist their arms when I get there; I'm planning to arrive 10th January) I've also asked for 4 larger pitches for those taking their gin palaces......

Put us down for a couple of nights too. We have to work out our travelling times yet from the Alps to the site, will do this tonight and let you know how many nights we will need.
Thanks
