Morelo Palace 2019 (1 Viewer)

I don't doubt that you have seen a Morelo Palace or even two but what I posted here is the new 2019 version, new front mask new rear panel, awning recessed into the roof capping, new cupboards with a bit of shape to them instead of the old flat ones. This van was shown to the dealers on Monday 14th May and shown on their facebook page a couple of days ago, I think the main launch is 12th July.

There was one of those on the Honfleur aire on Sunday night. It also had a slide out on the LHS and had a Can Am Spider type trike in its garage.

I got the impression that they hadn’t had it for long.

Thanks. On our way down to Croatia before we came back to Lake Garda we stopped at a fantastic Agricamping place which has just 10 places with a pool and was fantastic. It was a 10 minute drive to Lazise.

We were on our way back from Croatia too, I did see Francesco but the pictures on the web site made it look a bit cramped, your ones looked more inviting, so maybe next time? I think I saw the Agricamping one whilst I was searching around, we quite like the small sites, fewer attractions for kids!

Hi, the coordinates are on the picture, we had pitch 1 which we could easily reverse into but also pitch 2 and 3 and good as opposite a little car park for staff. The pitches are fully serviced with waste and water and also a gas tap for a bbq. We are nearly 8m long and managed fine if a little narrow but managed to get awning out

I wasn’t aware there was an app so I’ve downloaded it thanks but your right there is no mention about motorhomes for the tre colline one but there is definitely 10 pitches

I found them by using google maps and just putting agricamping in the search bar for the area on your screen as we wanted a stop over on the way to Croatia and ended up staying 3 nights as it was so nice. I notice that the one 5 mins away from here isn’t on there either (the other pics I posted)

I have been thinking over supper tonight, where are Morelo? They have so many models with no discernible difference that leads you onwards and I struggle to see the owners model progress. Looking at N+B the Arto and the Flair at first blush bare a similar style so much so that you have to look at lockers and garage to know what has just flashed past. But Morelo seems a Mish mash of style and features. The only real difference being to lose the outdated submarine lockers you have to go Empire. They need to stop trying to be all things to all men and have a planned route for owners. Just my one bottle musings.

Deed done today. We ordered a Morelo Empire Liner 100 GB. Delivery is estimated at end of March to middle of April 19. We have a month to decide the spec but the order has been placed.

Might need to go back to work at this rate

We almost went for the 100 GO model which is exactly the same but has a lounge slide out. We decided we use too many Aires and Stellplatz and a slide out was not really for us.

Well done Stewart, your delivery is circa ours. Where did you do the deal here or Deutschland and which dealer? We have the same 1230 chassis but the 90LO Palace Liner, so shorter but same 2.5 width but with the slide out which as we have experienced them before like the extra internal space they create. In practice the single one that Morelo offer does not protrude any more than the space you need to open a locker so maybe worth a second thought?

Thanks, We have dealt direct with Morelo. They seemed okay to deal with provided I had not opened discussion with any of their dealer network. They have warned the date may slip, but no more than 6 weeks. We did give the slide a lot of thought and looked at one on a Palace Liner. The way in which it protrudes into the vehicle when not extended and the extra width put us off. On some of the aires we use it would be a no no. Thanks for opening the discussion again, we spent last night should we shouldn’t we....we still have the spec to do and as you know that’s the expensive bit, although it appears most of what we want is included in the Empire spec.

Did you see the different inverter (not Mastervolt) in the rear garage area of the new 2019 Palace?
Of course, it could be a standard lead-acid version (but I don't know what that looks like)

I don’t think I will go for second as I have a single in my current Morelo and it’s more than adequate for our needs.
