It's been a great day today
We left our parking spot this morning around 10am , drove down to Antirrio and caught the ferry over to peloponnese.... started off quite cloudy this morning but still a fair 14° and t shirt weather so couldn't complain.
Ferry still €11 which is good, I think the bridge is around €26 but not entirely sure as I've always used the ferry.

Topped up with diesel in pio at €1.61 and made the mistake of driving through patra ....never again . Checked out a few spots on the other side of patras for a lunch stop but didn't like them much so decided to drive on another hour and found this gem of a spot on park4night near Manolida on the nature reserve, it was absolutely pissing in down on our way here so I nearly didn't bother but I'm glad I did , we parked up around 12.45 and I made lunch , while I was eating lunch the sun made its way out through the clouds and its been beautiful all afternoon. Nice quiet spot right on the beach with a forest behind us .. a few locals came by to fish and to swim but otherwise I'm here on my own. The dogs have had a lovely few hours exploring around us and playing on the beach. Milo is nearly back to himself ... he's not been running around but he's walked around the beach peeing on everything and barked at a few locals so he's getting there. Jade is fully back to herself which is great , shes been charging around like a nutter , shes been in the water barking like a crazy dog and generally just having a great time.
Ela has been a star today , she's not strayed too far despite having freedom and has came back to check in every so often ... coming back when called after a few goes lol but its a huge improvement.. I like to give her the freedom to have a mooch about and it's more relaxing if I know she's not too far away. Nice lunch of fresh local bread with the 5***** luxury chopped pork lol. After a play on the beach I got my chair out to indulge in some camping behaviour and thought I'd crack open a beer. Watched the sun set over zakynthos and did have the passing thought about maybe taking the ferry over for a week as I've been there 3 times on package holidays but never been with the camper....but decided against it as its an unnecessary expense and everything will be closed anyway.... and it just brings back memories of holidays there with an ex partner I'd rather not stir up. So I'll give it a miss this time. But its a fantastic spot this with proper sandy beach to get the camper in a right mess lol.

It's back to rain now though, fairly light at the minute , don't mind if it rains overnight if it's dry through the day , I can live with that.

The wind can make the sea act like a tide on the shore - but usually by just up to a few feet - you can see that in Tams' photo

we went to the Peloponnese 2 years ago in the van, didn't want to come home. We went to the abandoned hotel beach in a heatwave 
it was a nightmare even getting there as the sat nav took us down the worst road we have ever driven 
so glad you are all on the up keep enjoying my favourite place(I'm not envious at all) 
You are now pooping at 45 degrees !!!A wee bit late but is the wonky loo still at Koronisia?
I managed to empty my toilet there back in 2017, a proper loo with a view.
