Had to offend Mr wallet as the only parking near the vet is paid so €2 for an hours parking.... scandalous.

No hot water too I think, we haven’t got one and to be honest it doesn’t take long for the water to get very hot so not required but some love them. I did ask how much to retro fit one, about £1000, good hod no thanks.
Ah OK. I didn't realise it was part of the alde . I've only had one van with alde heating before. The euramobil had a separate truma heating when you were driving so I thought it was similar to that
Was that a Truma E2400 we have one, instant heat and it also blows cool too.

No idea of the model . Never used it as it also had rear fans for the normal engine heating and the van was roasting when driving

Sorry CazPaul, you beat me to it by 15 seconds.
Some Alde systems are just the boiler and radiators, some have the additional heat exchanger which sits between the engine cooling system and the Alde heating system, when you turn on the Alde pump with gas and electric off but the thermostat calling for heat it runs the Alde pump warming the radiators and the hot water as secondary effects (the engine needs to be running) a further addition to this is a little pump that can circulate engine cooling water when you are parked up so as long as the Alde heating is on and hot it will warm the engine, the control for that electric pump should be on the CBE control panel.
