MOBY GOES TO TURKEY. A tam and pups adventure.

Hrs full of shit Paul. He's bought that to flip it and doesn't want to offer a warranty on it for some reason so is claiming its his own personal van.. he's never used it going by the mileage and his lack of knowledge about it. Not even one trip to try it out is very suspicious
Well he seems sincere to me but its you who's dealing with him, but if it was me I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him, maybe I'm just too trusting lol

I have a feeling it’s going to be more like 8 metres, and better with the 3litre that came about 2005.
Yes I'm not sure about the 7.1 metre . There's a fiat based tag the same model but older on ebay and it says 7.8 metres.

I'd prefer the chain driven 3.0 litre too

The 8000 that we had was/is 8.5 and the only difference to the 7100 is the bed is transverse rather that two singles so that knocks half a meter off.

It's nice and suits on the inside but even the seller says it's 'quirky looking' - fugly.

The worst looking motorhome - ever!

I like 'style' - its got none

Thanks Tam. I was a good while not coming on, a bit depressed I guess. I am in the same place as when I last saw you.
Fortunately I have made a few friends/acquaintances locally as I have had what I think must be "a flare- up" with my MS.
So my mobility is now about zilch without my all-terrain mobility scooter (so at least I can get the dogs out) but I can no longer drive! . I have sold my Motorhome as it was sitting here during nothing.
At the moment I have retained my car (fho' I can't use it.) I pay for someone to go shopping for me every couple of weeks , I have a brother living about 2 hours away, tho he's not keen on dogs, he will help if asked. Fortunately I like living here and it suits the dogs, so life goes on.
It could be a lot worse ( 😆

I’m with you on the MoHo , I think he’s full o sh##e , it’s in his own name as he couldn’t retail without repercussions , don’t get your hopes up on this one , if it’s still there (it’s a buyers market just now) go for a look when you get back , if it’s sold beforehand you have lost nothing

We had a similar situation, my mate seen a hymer A class cheapish at a caravan dealers in Ayr , not being retailed but sold private but belonged to the site owner , described as good condition, loaded of pictures just not the ones of bathroom which had completely rotted out , floor and all , chancers 🤔

On a slightly different note Tam here's a couple of old girls for you... no googling them! 🤣

From your screen shots he doesn't look like the sharpest knife in the box and might well be telling the truth as he sees it not necessarily trying to do anyone but wants as much as he can get out of Iike anyone would.

Yeh I miss her honest but ruthless replies, gives Charlie (chaser) a run for his money 😊
Do you think I am ruthless mate, it's not really me, I just can't get my head round not saying how it is just to save someones feelings.
I certainly don't go out of my way to upset anyone, just can't say anything that isn't right just to please someone.

Me too Charlie, I've been around too many corners to spot a con artist and this boy isn't one of them, or as we say in Ireland I'm too big a cat to be bucked by kittens lol
As regards the van it may or may not be what he's saying but it's a 20 year old van it's bound to have a few issues, but as others have said if its still there when the big man gets back he'll soon sort it & the boy out!

Sorry to disagree Paul, he's a blatant bullshiter, I have heard many supposed car dealers stories.
Sickly child, blah, blah anything to get a sale. Tam will do his own investigation and i'm sure he will make his own mind up.

Could be.... but as you say and we all agree Tams back soon and if its still there he can go and check it all out himself 🙂

No Lenny believe or not its a Ford!
Ford Taunas produced by Ford Germany back in the day
There's the German equivalent of the vauxhall cresta in there too ...opel summit. My dad had a big cresta when I were a lad ... loved that car

If we are still talking about the 7100 rear wheel drive IVECO at DCL in Wales I don't believe it's a 7100 as it's more like an 8000 so 8.45 metres, you will notice in the photos it has the longer lounge sofa as indicated by the fact that the bar table wraps around the back of the captains seat.

i think the seller is a caravan dealer it might explain that he seems to know nothing about motorhomes
But he sells motorhomes too. A few in his other items and online reviews from motorhome sales.

Going from that brochure you sent yesterday it does look like the iveco listed 7100.

Actually looking again you're right going by the layout diagram it would be the 800I

I can't believe a caravan and motorhome dealer could know so little about a motorhime he's selling .
