I don't normally mention it on this thread as i hate being labelled BUT i mentioned it on jerryz thread the other day so i might aswell .... it possibly comes from the Adhd thing which is all part of the autistic spectrum ( unfortunately i cant count cards) ...my son is the same way. And my dad was also similar.

Social interaction can sometimes be difficult and after a while you just always expect it to be difficult so you prefer to avoid a lot of it to avoid the problems. ...I think with me it's got worse as I've got older.

When I do make friends they tend to be close friends... but I tend to have few rather than many as it takes a wee while to break down barriers.

I think a lot of folk generally find me annoying too which is fair enough.


That's why I like dogs they don't judge

Yes I think so . I know I sound like I complain a lot ...but generally I love my life, I like being a vandweller it's a choice and 90% of the time it's all good. It just throws up different challenges from being in bricks n morter sometimes.

I like when I can find places with my own space and only those I want in it.

In other news though I have secured a bike/scooter ... negotiated a price seller and I are happy with and he's happy to store it for me till I'm back ... he's only 45 miles from uncle Lenny HB so as he's away at lyndon top rally the weekend I'm back I'll just drive up to Alton on the Monday and collect the scooter before going back to uncle lennys

These seem the best scooters for Motorhome use as its only 99kg but has 17" wheels and gets 120mpg .... carb model and semi automatic . And they retain their value as well sought after

It's amazing how people are so different, I hate being anywhere quiet in the van, I love just sitting under the awning with a nice cool drink watching all the comings & goings whether it's on a busy campsite/official Aires/parking or parked up off grid I always like being among people
But that's what makes it such a beautiful world,
we're all so very different ‍

I’m similar, prefer my own company but I’m nosy so like to watch the comings and goings of a place… I have very few friends so if in real life I’m still talking to you after five minutes then your ok…

I like social interactions with maybe 2 or 3 people at the most. I.never liked crowds etc. I'm uncomfortable in pubs. Restaurants and things when busy ..

Yes boring, because I do not like the grey/white look, even though I know one can through some colour around.

I know ....I've watched the film lots of times. Its the bit at the beginning when he growls at the woman next door and the reaction to the horoscope I find hilarious .


It's a brilliant film that though, Clint has made a few good films where he tackles the difference between racism and banter etc . The mule is another good one

Yes but it is empty and for sale so no personal touches. We have an N & B Arto with the same layout. Ours was less than 25% of the price of that and perfectly adequate for us.
Everyone is different - some fill the front with soft fluffy toys, others loads of nick knacks others like smooth clean uncluttered lines. Each to their own!

Every motorhome has the same basic facilities, some are made better then others with differing materials and some more basic, but they are all basically the same…..
