MOBY GOES TO TURKEY. A tam and pups adventure.

That's ridiculous lol ..50 metres 🤣🤣 I can take those pics without a drone. I was at 120 metres high and 4-500 metres radius.
Ridiculous maybe, but the law presumably. I doubt it is within sight at 500 metres. How do you know no one else is operating in the same airspace?

You get a warning on the screen.

And no one pays attention to most laws lol. Especially in Greece.

Happy Burns night Tam from an oasis somewhere in Morocco 🙂
Although it's a bit warm for neeps, tatties & haggis tonight! Lol

Presumably that's what the plane spotters thought!
There's a difference between an idiot flying a drone near an airport to spot planes than flying a drone over a beach etc miles away from any airports.

Common sense prevails.

Don’t know about Greece. There are numerous commercial drone projects all over the UK. Most of these have no idea about powered aviation. They obtain permission for dedicated airspace for their trials. Unless you acquaint yourself with all of this stuff you could end up risking your drone, their drone, and ultimately risking innocent people.

I won’t clog up your blog any further, but please do be careful.

We just passed this massive sugar factory outside xathia ., biggest factory I've ever seen took ages to drive through it 7... but it was derelict. I was curious why so I googled it and apparently the managing director ken d floss somehow got in to hot water and the company was dissolved...

Its a shame they cant make whisper quiet props for drones, if it wasnt for the annoying noise they make, no one would even realise they were flying overhead.
Maybe The Ukrainian's could offer up some advice, they seem to be the current experts at stealth droneology (y):giggle:
LES

The higher it is the less noise you hear.

I just googled Stealth Props for DJI, loads came up on Amazon/EBay, I have forgotten which Mavic Version you have but they seem to stock stealth blades for all types, how much difference the make will be interesting though, prices vary from £12 upwards.
There is also You Tube videos on trial results for some types which may be worth a look or maybe not?
This guy below doesn't seem to think so, and the results are not as promised by the manufacturer.
So there you go Tam, I maybe saved you some dosh, but the annoyance level remains the same, shotguns at the ready :giggle: LES

Tam will you please 'take care' of Blu's wispy hair on her, ahem, lady 'wee' bit ... otherwise if she has a piddle and comes back in you'll get 'damp' seats! :giggle:

Few pics from today .. tomorrow will probably be our last day and night in Greece and will cross the border in to Turkey Sunday morning.

Tonight we are parked at a small village in the national park .
Quick tip for driving into Turkey Tam as you approach the border stay out in the right hand lane otherwise you'll get stuck behind possibly 100s of lorries which seem to all get checked in and out (check the outward bound lorries in my pic) so don't join their queue or you'll not be in Turkey until about March! Lol
If your not sure follow any local motorist you see 👍
